ReplyDeletedont forget that the naylor mill road annex has the wico-mico running right threw it. its beautiful water, or it used to be. hell five years ago while hunting there i actually drank some of it.

No! these annexations are getting out of hand.
If you like your city you may want to go and try to put a stop to these annexations.
this isnt really on cue here, but a little birdie told me awhile back that delmar has approval for annexing their city limits out pepperbox rd, out ot providence church rd,up to whittesville rd,and to down to connelly mill rd. is this true. does anyone know for sure?
ReplyDeleteTell me how we are annexing booth street projects into the city limits but we can't get any additional officers to police the city even though they are expanding so much. Aren't the police already overworked and under paid enough as it is?

The section eight tenement shacks out on Dykes Rd, is a Booth Street of the future. 55 and older right, now it's nothing more than Booth Street project with lipstick on it! How long do you think that will last?
ReplyDeleteHearne annexation wasn't it? Debbie tried to tell the stooges they needed the wording tightened up to assure that never happens again.
Something struck me while writing this comment, those Booth Street tenements are ready to be torn down. I wonder who is in the wings waiting to acquire that land for future development or commercial strip mall possibilities? Bound to be an FOB, you watch and see.
Oh well there goes another developer reimbursement in the works. Rinnier is going to build work force housing, for the working poor, UNDER POWER LINES.

Not being sarcastic at all but we sure could use some more people attending the city council meetings. Bring some family and friends, we are all in this together.
We all are in this thing together, color matters not. I thought those guys that got up at the city council meeting a month or so ago questioning the Westwood commercial park were great speakers and tough cookies. I knew one of them, all smart people, come on and join the "Dirty Dozen."

Caught Terry Cohen on WMDT about the audit. The council selected some group to get in there and figure out what needs to be done. I think these are the efficiency folks. Heaven knows the finance department of this city needs something.
