Pittsville Rocks!
ReplyDeleteNo, I beg to differ. Its really the Wicomico County Library that rocks! Without them there would not be a Pittsville Branch, so thank Tom Hehman and his staff.

Granted Tom Hehman and the higher powers may be ultimately responsible for the branch being in Pittsville, but its the wonderful Library staff in the branch itself that work hard to put on amazing programs like this one. They are there every day as a friendly, knowledgeable resource for the community. They work their butts off to make our little Library great and we appreciate it more then they will ever know. My son got his first Library card here. It feels good to know that my kids have a safe place they can go after school. They use the computers, play the Wii games and bring home books (shock!). The kids all know the Library ladies by name and know they can find help with their homework and projects here. This branch has been a life saver for myself and many parents in this area and we hope to see it stay and grow so that some day my children will bring their children there for their first Library card.
