Looks like more growth about to be paid for by the taxpayers of the city. Then of course the change to Louises council rules of order, that she never follows. Another effort to keep the citizenry in the dark about any and everything going on in the city. Just call us MUSHROOMS. If you can make it, PLEASE do.

Nice of the council president and her sad excuse of a majority to schedule this meeting KNOWING, in advance, Debbie Campbell and Terry Cohen both had previous commitments.

  1. How in hell can they transact council business, like proposing changes to the Rules of Order without the full council there to discuss all matters pertaining thereto? This Louise is a real schister and will do anything to shut up the real voices on the council, madames Terry and Debbie.

  2. They almost always schedule "special" sessions when they know Debbie Campbell is away for work or other commitments.

That's so their hatchet men of the Daily Times chat-n-spat boards can make a big deal out of her attendance record.

Now they got a two-fer with Terry Cohen unavailable for it.

Remember Gary Da Bubba's comment at that one meeting, where they asked for something to come back to a work session, and he blurted out, "If they'll show up!"

So now, Louise Smith can slam Debbie and Terry down with her trumped up change of Rules of Order while they are away, blame them for not showing up, and complete her Dictatorship.

  3. I think there are some federal free speech laws that will trump anything Louweasle tries. Also, I wonder if Louweasle knows she can be personally sued when she's not acting within the scope of her duties as President of the Council. Trying procedural maneuvers to silence counsel members and prevent them from serving the voting public and carrying out the legislative duties of their elected office is not within the scope of Louweasle's duties and is in fact interfering with the duties of an elected official. I say sue the witch! Take her for everything she's got, here and in Florida and apply it toward the City's growing debt.

  4. Amazing, isn't it? And yet, when Terry asked for a special work session right after she was sworn in, the answer was no because Bubba and others might not be available, as I recall! Two-faced witch! I'd call her a B!tch, but I like dogs!

  5. Do we know anything about what happened at the work session, or do we have to wait for the "official" version under the FOIA?

Perhaps you might want toi take that statement back? Perhaps you might want to explain why YOU weren't there and expect everyone else to do all the work for you, for free, mind you? Everyting will come in due time. You don't mind if I take some time to get something the EAT, do you?

  7. Yawn, whatever it was, by the time they get around to voting on it at a council session we already know it would have been a 3 to 2 vote.

I hope we weren't paying for the city Pimp, opps I mean attorney for sitting in a work session where nobody has the brain or mind set to ask a question anyway.

  8. Joe, please, I did not mean it as a criticism of you or anyone else. I am one of your biggest fans from out of the area! That's why I can't attend meetings or watch on PAC14 unless I happen to be in town on business. I depend on Sbynews and Joe Albero for all my info on the Council doings. Of course you are entitled to eat; I have even been at the same table with you once or twice in the years past! And if you think I am being fascetious in this post, I am not. I also have to remain anonymous due to friends and family who could be hurt by FOB's. I love ya, Joe, and that's no joke.
The remark was not meant as a slam at you; it was a reference to how anyone who cares has to get info from the &^*%^ administration! Can we be friends again?
