ReplyDeleteThis and the equally deplorable state of the downtown plaza is the result of using limited city funds for such things as the Salisbury Festival and now the "All-American City" contest and a "dog park", as well as over expenditure in general (just looks at the Mayor's Office and City Attorney funds in the budget). And the Zoo is getting almost $1 Million. Perhaps some of that funding could be better spent elsewhere in the City Park and other locations.
