Why are their two gross looking piles of mulch right next to the path that are going to waste just like those bio-logs?
These are pictures of two garden like areas that have not been kept. That mulch could of been used here, but no, the areas are not tended. City park has many open areas where there is not anything there such as the wide open area where those bio-logs are from the last post. A few small garden areas with some benches or picnic tables would be nice; just something to make the area not look as barren.
Still if the shoreline growth needs to mature as some have said, then why have not these other areas been improved or new gardens added?
Looking at the surrounding areas the ground looks terrible being barren.
Even the memorial on Picnic Island has not been up-kept.
What do you Salisbury want done with the park? What would you like to see? What do you think that needs to be done?
Again what has been planned for this area and when will the needed work to make this park look amazing for everyone take place?
LAZINESS and POOR MANAGEMENT will get you these results !!!!
ReplyDeleteThe prioritization of tax dollars will also get you these results. Are you willing to pay higher taxes for better results? Or donate some of your time toward making the city parks for attractive?
ReplyDeleteflood it all and bring back humpreys lake.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I like Anon 2:21 idea a whole lot.
ReplyDeletea little "clean up" would suffice. WAYYY better than dumping a million bucks into the ZOOOOOOOOO again).IMO
ReplyDeleteI would be more than happy to donate time to clean up and even help maintain this facility. But I refuse to offer money because it never seems to reach the source as has been displayed already.
