Yesterday I found this NEW crack in the floor at the new Fire Station. No, it's not one that was there before. It looks like See should have held a Come To Jesus Meeting with the Contractor but it may be too late now. What's a few million tax dollars, right Chiefy?
Is the new fire station all that it's CRACKED UP to be?
ReplyDeleteLooks like the same vision of the North Prong...
Lots of money, lots of cracks, and a rush job by Barrie to have something to call her "legacy."
Look at our crime, neglected areas, loss of business, filthy river...
There's your legacy, Barrie.
salisbury has become a dangerous joke of a city, nothing like when i grew up there. its lost its small town charm. the landlords have alot to do with it. they get rich while destroying our community. when single family homes disappear the rats come out.
ReplyDeleteJoe,
ReplyDeleteWhatever structual defect caused the first cracks will continue to cause new cracks in the concrete. There is no point in watching for them to appear....they'll be there.
Just hope, for the sake of the structure, that concrete is all that cracks. Rumor has it that this site was once the lost city of Atlantis.
This is my problem....I as a taxpayer helped pay for that floor and will continue to pay for that floor until I die. I HELPED PAY FOR A NEW FLOOR WITH NO CRACKS IN IT !!!!! GOT IT !!! SO...would you accept this in your brand new house that you will make many payments on? The idiots who contsructed that building WOULD put a new floor in or they wouldn't get PAID !!!

I am wondering if the city signed an aggreement ahead of time know the contractor's weren't liable for any future damages? Can anyone find that one out? When you have to pour millions of dollars in concrete as pilings to stablize the building you have to know something is going to go wrong!!
Whats wrong with the entire project starts with the IMBECILES that conceived the project.
ReplyDeleteThe cracks in the floor were engineered that way so the leaking oil has a place to go
ReplyDeletethe cracks are caused by movement within the floor or plain to much wait on them.
