Captain Mike Elliott From The Wicomico County Sheriff's Department In Accident Today
Captain Mike Elliott was heading east across Nanticoke Road this afternoon when a vehicle coming the opposite direction turned left and collided head on with Captain Mike Elliott. The airbag deployed and Mike was complaining of back pain. He was taken to PRMC and the driver of the other vehicle did receive a citation for not yielding properly and causing an accident. Fortunately Mike will be OK and had just been at St Andrews Church displaying their Mobile Command Unit at their Block Party moments before the accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mike.
If I was a dope dealer, I'd be headed in any direction out of Wicomico County. Mike Lewis needs to replace that car.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Capt. Elliott is, for the most part, okay.
ReplyDeleteWishes for a speedy recovery Mike, and thanks to you and the whole Sheriff's department for really making our day at the event.
ReplyDeleteWe can't thank you all enough and as soon as my brain gets over it's heat stroke from hanging over the grill all day, I will send a personal Thank You to the whole Sheriff's department.
God Speed and again thank you all so much, I think I'm ready for another nap whew. Peace and happiness to the brotherhood of Wicomico county law enforcement~!
Very happy to hear that no major injuries were sustained in this accident. He and his family have been through enough.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks to the sheriff's department for all that they do for our community.
The Sheriffs Department has done so much in such a small amount of time. Mike Lewis and the men and women who work with him are tops. For the first time in the four years that I have lived on my road we have had a deputy clocking speeders here. I know one (a schoolbus no less) was caught on radar doing 47 in a 30 mph zone. I am very appreciative of what they, as a whole, are doing to better the community. Go Get 'Em Mike & Company! You guys ROCK!
ReplyDeleteNow if we could only get a county wide force and put Mike in charge we could get rid of the "nonexistant drugs and gangs".
Best wishes for a speedy recovery
The family is due for some good fortune- hang in there guys---
