Porter Mill Road Properties, LLC, the developer of Waller Landing in Hebron, has two of its tracts (#817 and #818) published for tax sale in a couple of weeks. They paid the Hebron taxes only yesterday and as of
9:40 a.m. today, the County taxes remain delinquent.
Not a good move on the part of that developer!
The vote to pass on the LLC's Waller Landing project by the Planning Commission is set for this Thursday!
If he could do so, Bubba Comegys would give them a "TIF".
ReplyDeleteHey, Hebron--what are you thinkin' to pass this huge project that has greed written all over it. These out-of-town developers are taking you for a ride!! Can't even pay their own taxes on vacant land?????
ReplyDeleteWake up Hebron or you'll soon be just like us folks over here in the city of Salisbarrie. Everything for the developers nothing for you, not even sewer or water.
ReplyDeleteI am a Hebron resident, and we'll be glad to overlook this tax debt if these greedy slum builders would go back across the bay and NEVER come back! The residents of the quiet, rural Porter Mill area do not want this trashy project in our neighbor hood. Build your ghetto someplace else!
ReplyDeleteMaryland tax sales are a scam.
ReplyDeleteYou don't 'buy' anything except the right to foreclose on the "right of redemption" if the person "losing" the property does not pay within 6-months and a day.
This is set up so the county gets its money and "investors" get 20% to 24% on their "investment" because most people 'redeem' the property.
And Hebron actually believes these developers are going to pay for a new WWTP.............David Hooper and the others are looking real dim-witted about now.

ReplyDeleteThey ain't even close to Barrie Tilghman & Bubba Comegys on that "TIF" subsidy for the owner of the old Salisbury Mall. Now that's stupid.
stop killing the shore, theres very little of it left, the natural beauty of our home is breath-taking. no more houses.
