Wicomico County Will Wait Till This Saturday To Honor Our Soldiers

I was going to head over to the WCYCC today at 10:00 to be there to honor our Soldiers on Memorial Day but was informed that they have delayed it till this Saturday?

Perhaps the Civic Center was too jam packed with wrestlers to hold a celebration today? You know, I'm curious to see if the Daily Times covered that in tomorrow's paper, since they didn't cover the wrestling the last time they were in town and I did?

Anyhow, I believe the ceremony will be at 10:00 AM at the Civic Center and perhaps Wicomico County will offer a Press Release this week for it?

  1. This weekend IS Memorial Day. This past weekend was memorial day to suit those that wanted a 4 day weekend. Just shuffle the calendar to suit those on capital hill.

  4. Memorial Day on the calendar was May 26th, next year it will be a different day. For those of us that observe traditional holidays Memorial Day will always be May 30th, Flag Day will be June 14th, July 4th will be July 4th, Veterans Day will be Nov 11th, etc, etc, etc.

We have to pay to use that building which was built for Our YOUTH and the CITIZENS of Slumsbury, uh Salisbury. Thanks to da mare we cant use that facility with out paying for it. Way to go Salisbury. Thanks for screing everyone over. Joe, your blog proves alot. maybe we'll get a new mayor who is smarter, wiser and definitely better than Barrie. She sued cause you were proving the facts.
