Chiefy, Chiefy, Chiefy!
BREAKING NEWS!
Remember the Press Release I put out last week about the Salisbury Police Department looking for the witness of the murder on Mitchell Pond?
GET THIS! This calls for an early Dee, Dee, Deeee Award of 2008! The Witness called 911 allegedly stating they had witnessed the murder. 911 asked this person to stay there until Police arrived. The Police arrived and interviewed this person at length. When they were done the Witness simply walked away.
Now I know your sitting there thinking, NO WAY! Yes Way, THEY NEVER GOT THEIR NAME! Chiefy Webster's Salisbury Police Department had to put out a Press Release begging everyone to please help them find this Witness so they could get their name.
And people wonder why I have clearly stated time and time again, Chief Webster sucks at what he does. THANK YOU CHIEF WEBSTER, for proving ONCE AGAIN that I was right about your lack of management skills. The next time you drive by me in that black cruiser smiling your ass off, know that I'm smiling back and thinking about that Dee, Dee, Deeee Award. I've been Downtown twice this week at different times with witnesses, (yes I can name them) and Chiefy has, (as usual) out of nowhere shown up driving around.
the officer on the scene is the one who displayed a lack of smarts, not the chief, heck all he did was hire this person
ReplyDeleteThe officer on the scene should be fired and the chief should be given a leave without pay . This
ReplyDeletewas murder not shoplifting .If
you spend some time on vine street
you will see salisbury police
killing time everyday . Get their gas and BS for an hour!
But the mare know's the names of everyone who speaks out against the city, makes perfect sense huh? again priorities
ReplyDeleteThere is drug activity around the vine street area. they are where they are because they were asked several stake outs undercover as well. the only way to get our neighborhoods back is to take part in it
ReplyDeleteThis is a management issue with responsibility going directly to the Chief.
ReplyDeleteGrowing up in Southern California where the cops are VERY HARDCORE may have put a slant on my perspective.
When we were teenagers ANY TIME a police officer 'hassled' us, they would take our ID and fill out a Field Interview / Interrogation Card to file who knows where.
Here in Pocomoke when I have reported crimes or been a witness, they have asked for a statement and several times used a statement 'form' that required contact information AND a signature.
If there is no policy like that in place in Salisbury, then shame on the Chief.
If there is a policy in place and the field officer did not bother to follow procedure, then shame on that officer.
Common sense would dictate that you would ask for the contact information of someone giving any sort or statement or claiming to be a witness, especially in a murder case.
None of this realy surprises me!
ReplyDeleteWebster came here thinking this would be a piece of cake job.
He's still eating his cake and icecream!
HA!Vine Street must be real bad. Where the hell were they back in 2004 when I called them all the time about open air drug sales right outside my home in Salisbury? The neighborhood was becoming a drug infested sh*thole and I tried the whole " take back your neighborhood and call the police to report illegal activity" do-gooder thing. It was easier to just move! Now that I have that off my chest, let me just say that was sloppy police work last week.Grandad,I know you have an opinion on this-that is not proper procedure. For all the officers on the scene knew, the witness could have been a suspect and until they identified the witness and cleared him/her,they should have asked the witness to remain on scene.

ReplyDelete-
Heck, all he did was sit in Crisfield pickin crabs or somewhere. He damn sure wasn't at SPD or probably anywhere near the city of Salisbury.
HEYYYYYY I know how to keep chiefy in Salisbury. Let Joe move into one of his apartments downtown. That will keep him in town for sure. Sheeesh what a piss poor excuse for an employee.
