It is not selfish - just extremely sad that he felt he had not other option. I lost my father to suicide when I was 20 years old so I know what the children are going through. It is hard enough dealing with it without having to hear/read someone make callous comments about the cause of death and their opinion of a situation that they truly do not have all of the facts on. You are entitled to your opinion - just remember that there are many reasons of which no one will probably ever know of why this happened. Sometimes less is more and I believe in this situation - for the children's sake - the less "selfish" comments made - the better. It is a personal matter and my heart goes out to the family.
This is something personal the family must deal with, not a local blog to play with. Notice, newspapers don't cover suicides of everyday citizens. There should be better judgement on the things that are posted.
While I do feel terribly for the loss of this man, be real.
My father, The Homorable Delegate K. Bennett Bozman, had his death put on the evening news BEFORE anyone (like his wife or either of his daughters) was ever notified.
Feel free to verify this with Steve Hammond from WBOC and the AP office in Annapolis.
Information leaks out, and with the way the media is currently run, there is no dignity left for the grieving.
Thats some serious s**t to post, I hope you are correct with your info.
ReplyDeleteI heard he had two ex wives that kept taking him to the bank by one layer they both hired.
ReplyDeleteLayer? Did you mean, lawyer?
ReplyDeleteI agree with the previous post. I sure hope your info is correct. I would hate for his family to read this and it be wrong
ReplyDeleteHow selfish? Think about the children. It's so irreversible.

ReplyDeleteThere is at least 1 teenaged child here so let's be gentle with this one. Not everything needs to be posted here.
ReplyDeleteWhat a shame that a young person loses their dad. I heard she was at school when a relative came to get her. What a thing to face.
This is odd.Didn't Payne Logging and Pine Country guys do the same?
