Worcester County Bureau of Investigation has arrested the following people in connection with the death of Michael Mitchell:
Eric Ronald Hewitt, 19 of Ocean City (2nd degree assault, held on 75K bond)
Angelo Fernando Musiani, 19 of Berlin (1st degree murder, 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, held without bond)
Domonic Richard Canale, 21 of Ocean City(1st degree murder, 1st degree assault, 2nd degree assault, bond pending)
According to MD Case search, a couple of these guys have been in trouble before, maybe still be on probation.
My 9 year old daughter heard me talking to my husband about it. "The cops should take them and beat them with a baseball bat." I couldn't agree with her more.
How sad, The Musiani family has a rap sheet on the Maryland Judiciary Case Search Results, the mother had a PBJ, the father Domestic violence. To sad. They also own an Angelo’s Restaurant in OC. Mr. Hewitt had been charged with rape charges were Noelle Pros, he obviously has sticky fingers, wow... Mr. Canale looks like he's on probation also, this is terrible.
ReplyDeleteSunnyInOC, 2 people were charge with 1st degree murder! My question is which one did it? Or are they still investigating and charged both men, till one of them squeals? Hopefully the person, who committed the crime, has a set of Cohones and doesn’t lie to save his behind, but who knows, his parents are business owners!
you should tell your 9 year old that in this country, we have a court system and until they are found guilty, they still innocent.
ReplyDeleteGut reactions like this is what has caused lynchings of innocent people just because of the vengence of the uninformed mob.
If these guys are guilty, they should be punished. But lets find out if they are first before beating people just because they are suspect.

ReplyDeleteI just gotta know...what does being a business owner have to do with anything?
anon 8:40
ReplyDeleteYes, I did explain what a 9 y/o needs to know and understand after making such a statement. My question is are you a parent? And what exactly do you tell your child when he/she makes absolute sense?
Hewitt's PBJ ends 6/20/08... soooo close~!

ReplyDeleteThe system does not work! So, if it was your child that died and there was witnesses that said, yeah they did it with out a doubt, then Baseball bat and lynching's need to start.
In the west, even with our laws we hung people, maybe we should again because the new liberal way of saving trees and people dont work!
I know lets let them go and they can stay with you on house arrest!
Look,
ReplyDeleteThis is obviously a very sad situation BUT, when someone becomes so violent that they'll grab a baseball bat and beat someone in the head until they are dead, this person needs to be put away for LIFE!
WHEN are we, as American's, going to STOP this kind of violence? When are we as American's going to realize that the video games and movies our children are encouraged to see a portion as to why this might be a possible way to handle problems?
EXAMPLES need to be made. I'm NOT saying just punish this guy to the fullest. Punish ANYONE who even considers such acts and let our children know that if and when they choose to do so, they're going away for LIFE!
Bring up their names once a year as a reminder to everyone so it never leaves their mind. This is 100% unacceptable. They should be happy I'm not on the Jury for that case, that's for sure.
from your statement: "I couldn't agree with her more."
ReplyDeletesounds like you have pretty much made up your mind. that in America, people are guilty once the media or the police tells you they are.
and for the folks that say that the system is broken, what do you intend to do to fix it? Go out on lynching anytime you think that someone has committed a crime (even if a full investigation, trial, etc. has NOT happened yet).
All I hear is anger, complaining, and general discontent. Instead of complaining, come up with what would fix the system. What would keep these kids from committing crimes in the first place?
Perhaps we should change our drug laws so that we can minimize drug dealers (I know, I know, most of you law abiding citizens are against legalization of drugs but the day you make drugs legal, drug dealers go away. No longer do you settle your disputes about drug sales and competition with guns and violence. you now have the court systems, like all other businesses - such as tobacco and alcohol companies)
but come up with something instead of saying: lets go beat this guy that hasnt been proven to be the guy yet. that hasnt even gone to court. You enjoy your anonymity with these so-called "blogs". Basically they are just forums for you to grumble and feel good about yourself and your hatred for others. Be an adult and solve the problem instead of complaining.
My heart goes out to the Mitchell Family...I cannot even imagine the pain they are suffering. My last conversation with Little Mike was less than a week ago. I taunted him while he cut grass trying to get him to cut mine too. The saddness makes me sick. I know two of the families of the three suspects and that too makes me sad and sick. All families have problems and no one is perfect, not even local businessmen..but the Musiani's and the Hewitts are not bad people nor do I believe they are bad parents. The boys are all "innocent until proven guilty" and for the record, a nolle pross is a dismissal equivalent to a not guilty verdict (re: Hewitt rape charge)If these young men are found guilty, they will suffer the consequences as they should and pay for their stupidity. Worcester County has lost 4 of its youth, we have lost 4 futures, 4 sets of grandchildren, 4 quite potentially productive citizens. Yes the violence of the crime is unacceptable and there simply is no excuse but it doesn't make the situation any less sad for all involved.
ReplyDeleteAs an extended family member of Mikey's, all I can say is he was stuck and killed with the first blow of the bat. They continued to beat him beyond recognition, lying in AGH, we didn't even know who he was until the police officers confirmed his identity to us, we didn't believe it was him, but rather a horrible error. My whole family is devestated by the actions of these monsters. We are going to push that all of them involved get the max. amount of punishment, though it will never bring Mikey back, the small peace that we'll recieve from it, may one day comfort us. However, until then, we just ask that you keep our entire family in your prayers and pray that the system in this case, will give us justice.
ReplyDeleteI am heart-broken about this event. Freddie (Fernando) is a good friend of my son. He was always such a good kid. Very polite and a great sense of humor. I would have never expected this in a million years.
ReplyDeleteMy heart goes out to the Mitchell family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Freddie, I am also sorry that this has happened to you. I know that you must be going through something that none of us can understand. Warren and I are here for you. You are in our hearts and in our prayers.

ReplyDeleteSociety does not need the type of 'productivity' that three of the four individuals pursue.
See Maryland Judiciary Case Search for details. . .
Well, a good start is a 100 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean! Then we go from there!

ReplyDelete"business owner" let me see, MONEY, CORRUPTION, need I say more..
AngryAtTheWorld,
He's not the first quiet person that committed a crime, I know one, he put his innocent con artist face on when talking to the police and not even they thought he could have committed a crime he then turned around and told a different story on the stand under oath, can you say "PERJURY" it was his best lie yet out of the 4-5 he had given police.
SO I wonder what innocent, polite, great sense of humor, FREDDIE, has told the police! Maybe Domonic did it? And they will believe it, based on the definition you gave us on FREDDIE he is a con artist, he fooled you right?

ReplyDeleteWill do, we will keep you all in my prayers, I am SSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOO sorry.

I agree innocent until PROVEN GUILTY, but which when do you believe they are, innocent or stupid or do you believe they should suffer for the consequences?
Question, why haven’t these men’s mug shots been released, its not like they are minors, 2 are adult teens "19" and the one is an adult "21"? They are not any different then the last criminal!
ReplyDeleteShow there mug shots justice for Mikey.
AMEN JOE, I could not agree more with you as a father of 2. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
ReplyDeleteI will just say this, In 2004 after my brother was murdered when they ask us what we as his sisters would like to see done to them we said put them to death, when they ask my mother she said please do not put two more mothers thru what I have been thru. Just some food for thought.
ReplyDeleteWanda Disharoon
Bottom line, like Joe said, the court judicial system just doesnt work. We need to set standards to show these kids why you dont do things.
ReplyDeleteWhen you were a kid, you knew that if you screwed up, your dad was gonna lay his hand up side your head and knock the daylights out of you. The father, in my case, was the disiplinary figure in society at that time. Now days, there really is no disciplinary figure.
THe criminals know that if they commit a crime, most times there gonna get a slap on the wrist and be sent on there way. "Bad boy, now dont do it again".
How would you feel if this was your son or daughter. Would you want the kids to be slapped with a little fine and maybe a year or 2 in jail. I was recently speaking at a convention in Cecil Co and a guy stood up and told me that he committed a armed robbery in Perryville. He said that he was addicted to drugs and robbed a Rutters Conv Store to supply his addiction. The guy stabbed the clerk in the forearm when the clerk resisted and tried to run. This happened in 2003!!!! Here is a guy that committed a 1st deg assault, armed robbery and he is already out of jail!! Serious!!!! what is it gonna take for society to wake up.
Our system just dont work. They need to start cracking down on these people. If you kill someone, well by god, you should lose your life or be put away for life. IF you are a repeat offender, you have proven that you cant exist in society...put them away for life. Put these criminals away and prove a point, make the point that if you screw up, your gonna pay.
I truely feel sorry for the Mitchell Family.

10:33 I HAPPEN TO KNOW FOR A FACT THAT IT WAS THESE BOYS, NO NEED FOR A TRIAL. AN EYE FOR AN EYE
ReplyDeleteTHE DECISIONS WE MAKE DICTATE THE LIVES WE LIVE, IT SEEMS THIS TERRIBLE SITUATION HAS RUINED MANY YOUNG LIVES, THE THINGS WE DO IS A REFLECTION OF THE SOCIETY WERE RAISED IN.
ReplyDeleteSeems a shame to me that we have such a blood-thirsty community that is so ready to shoot first and ask questions later. Before you pass the death sentence on these kids, can we at least try to find out the facts behind the actions? As far as I know, none of you nor I were there to witness what happened and I find it hard to believe that the victims were absoluetly faultless in this situation but I am also not saying that they "deserved what they got" so do not misquote me. There is two sides to every story so let's hear both and let the vigilantes rest for the time being.
ReplyDeleteDidn't it have something to do with a girl? I am asking that because I read the statement about making drugs legal
ReplyDeleteI wasn't aware if the event was drug related. Doesn't matter about money or parents being in business, if anything I would think it would hurt the business.
Then again I also heard that his family no longer owned Angelo's. I'm not trying to spread rumor, just looking for some truth.
these clowns should also be prosecuted for drugs, go search dominique's dresser for his stash
