What's The Difference Between John Jacobs & Jim Caldwell?
NOTHING! It's business as usual in the Public Works Department Leadership. Several months ago a Jaguar mysteriously died of a ruptured spleen. We were assured a necropsy was being done and we would be told the results of what caused the mysterious death. However, I contacted two Council Members over the weekend and asked what the findings were and they replied, "I don't know."
This animal didn't die from a natural cause. If it had, the Mayor would have announced immediately what had happened. Like I said, more than likely a Zookeeper dropped the guillotine door on the animal and badly injured him. Hopefully we hear something more about this soon so we can make sure the Zoo fixes the defect in that door forever so it never happens again.
It has become painfully obvious that Mr. Caldwell was chosen primarily for his lackey qualities, at city council meetings he seems quite content to bobble his head up and down for the mayor when ever she needs an affirmative opinion. Don't ever give up on trying to do the right thing! Us "little guys" have to keep fighting for things to be fair and honest in this corrupt city. And how many Salisbury elite tag their cars with Delaware tags but really live in Maryland? Or how many wealthy buy a house in the state their kids want to go to college in and claim it as their primary residence to save money and increase the odds the kid will get accepted to a state school (like UVA)? But they aren't committing perjury?
ReplyDeleteAmen to Annon 852AM. How right you are! I see it all the time around Salisbury. The "elites" always finding a way to cheat the government or not even necessarily the elites. Must we not forget the good ole boy system around here! They are out to protect their so called friends. Dont ever try to win a court case with a good ole boy on the other side.forget it!~ Right or wrong, its just how it is. I am counting the next few years before I can leave this corruption.
ReplyDeleteOne bobble head, equals another bobble head. No change at all IMO
ReplyDeleteJoe: You are absolutely right in questioning where the necropsy report is right now? Surely the mayor has seen it and Mr. Caldwell too. And they did promise to let us know what the findings were. So the findings must be bad (yes it was the faulty door that did in our jag) or they would have been telling us how it happened to that
ReplyDeletepoor animal, who was only two or three years old as I recall. We just have a total bunch of mis-fits running this city (save for the two fine ladies) and its not going to ever get any bettter until we can vote that bunch out of office!

Did you catch Caldwell's BS in that Daily Slime article about the USDA's inspection. What a flunky - worse than Jacobs.
ReplyDeleteJacobs was a power-hungry moron, and Caldwell is just a moron.
ReplyDeleteSo far, anyway.
I heard some kids threw something in the cage and the jag ate it and got sick and died.
ReplyDeleteAnon. 1:21 has to be a zoo employee. Blame the problem on "some kid" throwing somethingin the cage and the jag eating it. If that is what happened, the necropsy report should indicate it. So, lets see what that says before we believe your story.

Yeah I don't buy that crap either about "Some Kid." If that was really the case that would be an easy out for da Mare and Caldwell, they would have reported that in a NY minute!
ReplyDeleteThis gives me a good idea. Are you saying that kids are throwing poison into the animal cages to kill the animals? I'll have uncle Jim send the mayor some laced bootleg for memorial day weekend.
