One Year Ago Today
It was one year ago today former City Council Member Lyn Cathcart again confronted Mr. Tim Chaney and started screaming and yelling at him, interrupting the ongoing City Council Meeting. Tim was truly minding his own business and had just sat down after publicly speaking and Lyn simply went off.
Now if Joe Albero would have done that, I would have been escorted out in handcuffs and no one can say that's not true. However, Louise Smith never even stopped the meeting and never confronted Lyn and or demanded she be removed from the meeting.
Lyn continues to come to meetings and be disruptive each and every time and I'd ask that the other Council Members demand she be removed if she ever gets out of line again. I should remind everyone that during the campaign, Tim went to her door and Lyn had her very large dog go after him. She had no control over the dog.
If I were Tim I'd demand the Officer in the room have her arrested if she ever confronts him again.
It shouldnt be just Tim to insist it, All of us should! Let her do it in front of me, it'll be a citizens arrest, hand cuffs and all! I have no problem hand cuffing a weasle either! Start respecting the Charter, Laws and Ethics!!!
ReplyDeleteLyn Cathfart is truly a bit...
ReplyDeleteShe has a very bad complex and it is getting on everyones nerves.
One of the most disliked individuals in the city and county.
At the time Cathcart had just left the Council and was having acute Dream-Team withdrawal symptoms, and she still suffers from that delusion of grandeur most of the time.
ReplyDeleteHave you been able to get the scoop on the Village at Tony Tank scandal? It seems the home owners have all received a letter from an attorney stating that the money will be paid back and not to talk about it. Inquiring minds want to know more.
ReplyDeleteThat's Barrie's hit-woman in action.
ReplyDeleteCathcart feins a Southern accent which is as phoney as she is! Her husband, Don, is a screwball.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the memories!
ReplyDeleteI have since made piece with Lynn and her husband when I requested the police department hire more boots on the ground to equal the ratio of officers per population to the same ratio it was 20 years ago. That has fell way low since the population has grown so much. So we actually agreed that night and buried the hatchet.
Of course that doesn't mean we will always agree, I just want to try to be more positive and if we disagree it should be civil disagreements.
Of course two days later the paper claimed that there was a big reduction in crime, how ironic. She may not like everything I say, and I may not agree with everything she says. No need to have a stroke over something that is most times out of our control, that night it was clearly out of control.
Patience is a virtue, except when the Vulture said "screw this... if summin' don't die soon... I'm gonna kill summin'." Peace : )
Opps that should have read "Made Peace," damn spell check won't pick that up!
ReplyDeleteHeres an idea for a caption...
ReplyDelete"Back off,Battle-Axe!" Chaney you looked p*ssed!
I was really pretty calm, for me anyway. I just asked her to please stay away from me, and when she didn't it was annoying. I liked the look on Tim Spies face.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to wipe the slate clean for a few, a new day, however there are many that will never get my respect.
Don't expect the in house SPD officer to say or do anything to Cathcart. Her son in law is SPD.
ReplyDeleteOh her son in-law was right there when all that happened. It's more the responcibility of the council president to have someone removed.
