I will provide more details later but some very good questions have been brought up about the old Fire Station 16. The report Debbie Campbell asked for from See & Keenan were simply never provided as to why they shouldn't keep it as a 1st response Station and since Keenan retired before the report could be delivered, See is denying a request ever existed. I have been present at least 5 times when it was.
There were three other people here as potential buyers and as we all stood around discussing this at a break, no one believes that Station is worth much more than $250,000.00.
More to come............
Well then...
ReplyDeleteWho will open us up at two fifty?
Two fifty ?
Thank you sir now two seventy five, do I hear two seventy five?
Yes
Now three hundred thousand is the bid....
It ain't rocket science, its called an auction.
Let me have at it and we will know exactly what its worth to a cash buyer in about 3 1/2 minutes....
See conveniently forgot about it. I didn’t forget about it.
ReplyDeleteDidn't I read somewhere that it had been appraised? And, came out around $800k?
ReplyDeleteThat's a long way from $250k.
He knows that he has. He blew a gasket one day after he said he was asked for the third time to justify the station being abandoned. What does it this B***ch doesn't understand about we're moving, were his exact words. He said he was tired of having to explain why the F.D. was moving. These statements are no secret to any Salisbury firefighter.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the rumor that ASAP is funing the City's Bash... Talk about bad publicity, no wonder he needed extra money...
ReplyDeleteAgain, Ms. Campbell is on the issue when no one else on the Council (except Ms. Cohen) even shows an interest in researching and getting answers. Honestly, what it looks like to the citizens is that Louise, Gary and Shanie view their job as to simply show up. They do not engage their minds (if they have one).
ReplyDeleteJoe....what's this I heard today about some guy you know who can find out who people are on the net? Is that true?
ReplyDeleteI heard that can be done but only if they have a blog. I don't think you can find out who anonymous people are unless they have a blog. Is that right?
There is a program that can be purchased that will identify who the bloggers are.If you purchase such a program and people know this, your communication with the public will deteoriate.
ReplyDeleteI guess that $800,000 appraisal is by the same person who the County got to do that Davis property, right?
ReplyDeleteHey Joe,
ReplyDeleteDid you see where the former SPD officer was found not guilty of the rape and sex offenses, but guilty of the misconduct in office? Everyone knew that girl was bulls~~tting. She is why it is hard for true rape victims to be believed in court.
The station is worth what someone
ReplyDeleteis willing to pay for it.I would
certainly bid much higher that $250,000.If is does go up for auction , I believe $600,000
is a more realistic price.
When SEE doesn't want to answer a question his Standard Operating Procedure is to say....he doesn't recall hearing or saying that....NO Surprise there.
ReplyDeleteobviously the same appraiser that did the property the new firehoser sits on. isn't flipping property like that against the law? oh hell what am I thinking I'm in salisbury
ReplyDeletesmell you later
