Ray Lewis Pimps His Ride!

While Sheriff Mike Lewis was sitting back enjoying a Sunday afternoon at his home there was a knock at the door. Low and behold, it was a County Employee with a boat load of information on Ray Lewis and people within Wicomico County.

Sheriff Lewis contacted the State Police the following day and they said, WE KNOW! The WBI put two and two together and while this whole mater was in fact under investigation, Sheriff Mike Lewis made the traffic stop two nights ago and thought to himself, self, I wonder if this could be the truck everyone has been looking for?

The first two pictures clearly show violations. One, the vehicle has no identification markings to handle whatever material they're handling. Secondly, the mud flap on the left rear was busted in half, meaning it serves no purpose. This was certainly enough to pull someone over.

Now, here's what I'm told. Sheriff Lewis made arrangements to attend the Pittsville Town Meeting Monday night. When he arrived, no one was there. The Daily Times printed the meeting would in fact be going on but this was not the case.

Considering one of the hot topics in Pittsville is patrolling, Sheriff Lewis took it upon himself to do just that, he started patrolling the area on his own. He then found his way towards Parsonsburg and ultimately back to Rt. 50 where he pulled over this Box Truck.

I can't say this enough Ladies & Gentlemen. This is called, "Proactive Police Work." The criminals have to get to and from wherever they're creating a crime and 99% of the time they're doing so in a vehicle.

How Ray Lewis didn't know there was a new Sheriff in Town is beyond me. Perhaps he felt he was untouchable? Perhaps we don't know the whole story? I will say the Lewis Family has certainly been spending day and night on this Blog trying to post support for Ray Lewis.

I will personally say that there was quite a bit of evidence coming out of those buildings that allegedly belong to the Taxpayers. A man is not guilty until proven innocent, this is America. However, the evidence is stacked up against Ray Lewis for the moment and to whomever the Idiot is who's claiming Ray paid for that fuel, even though he knew it was illegal, BITE ME! That's just one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Ray certainly knew what he and his Staff were doing. As for the Commissioner and their decision to release everyone, that's a whole new Post I'm certainly going to touch on.

The truck above was converted to carry stolen diesel fuel and had 6 hidden tanks in the back. High speed pumps were used to convert the fuel quickly and even as I stood inside, the fumes were overwhelming. How a driver rode around with this stuff stinking like it does is beyond me.

My hat is tipped to Sheriff Mike Lewis and WBI for a job well done. Let's just hope this case is handled properly and these people go away for what they deserve, should they be found guilty. Am I being nice, OR WHAT? LOL

  1. Just curious if anyone knows what "cut" the landfill guys were getting from Lewis? Just wondering how much money people sell their souls for in the county, wonder if it matches the city rate? How about some of the city employees blowing the whistle too!!

  2. WOW. Mike Lewis is too police work what Tiger Wood is too Golf. So no meeting in Pittsville and this guy just goes on patrol on his way back home. It blows me away to see what he is doing in our county. I hear people at work talking about Sheriff Lewis all the time and the outstanding job he is doing.

  3. HA...typical Town of Pittsville...do what they want when they want who cares about legal or illegal meetings, etc.
think they need an audit too

  6. "Self I wonder if this is the truck that everyone has been looking for?" Are you kidding? I think it's great they solved the case but it's a bit of a stretch to say he magically pulled over the truck because of a mud flap and voila he solved the case...they should just be honest and say they pulled over the truck because of probable cause or as part of an investigation.

  7. Sheriff Lewis is like that.
Rumor has it he can walk in a building with hundreds of people and ID the ones that are doing drugs. This man is nothing short of Robo Cop. He's like Matt Dhillon, Dirty Harry and Sheriff Taylor all wrapped in one.

  8. You know what people always say "it takes a crook to catch a crook!" You can't tell me that Mike Lewis just so happened to stop that truck and it just broke this case wide open. I mean I think it's great he broke the case, but has anyone ever stopped and wondered how he catches all these people. I mean I know that he use to work for MSP and I am sure he shared all of his knowledge with his fellow troopers, so why all of sudden has these traffic stops that turn god awful amount of drugs and guns, but yet we never heard of MSP getting stops like this around here. Mike Lewis has connections that I am sure the general public doesn't even want to know about, can't tell me he can just look at a car and know that it is carrying drugs or guns or that person is a felon. It really doesn't bother me so long as he keeps the drugs and guns off the streets. If Hunter Nelms had done half of what Mike has done in the last 15 months the whole time he was in office Wicomico county would probably be the safest county in the U.S.

  9. 420 I hear you loud and clear. Hunter whole career can't what Super Cop has done in 15 months. Mike Lewis is the real deal. Maybe all the other county employees will pick up the pace and follow in his foot steps.

  10. according to court documents, one county employee got $300 from Ray Lewis every time there was a pick-up of diesel fuel, etc. Lewis' driver got $60 for each load. And the documents show that Kenny Townsend actually helped load the stolen tires onto Lewis' truck. Amazing!

  11. He probably pissed somebody off (maybe a former employee) and they reported him and busted it wide open.

  12. I am just glad no one was killed by one of these illegal trucks which were a danger to everyone around them.Diesel fuel takes alot of heat to ignite but once it does,it is unmercifully hot.

  15. yeah, 420. MSP never got these kinda stops. does anybody wonder how far, how deep the connections go between the organizers, the law enforcement and the insiders who help rip-off the agencies & taxpayers? think for awhile. think hard. and stick your noses real deep, and you'll be surprised to find who all is rubbing elbows here. and just how some get information others don't.
