MASSIVE BREAKING NEWS

The Wicomico County Sheriff's Department has exposed a local businessman who allegedly conspired to steal more than $500,000.00 worth of diesel fuel, tires and parts. I will have more details after I return from the scene.

Ray Lewis of ASAP and Lewis Construction is one of the people arrested and allegedly involved along with THREE County Employees. Search Warrants have been served to Mr. Sharma's office, (he is NOT involved) and the County Landfill is shut down while under investigation.

This is huge Folks, stay tuned.

  1. Mike Lewis is the man. He will go down in history as one of the greatest sheriffs of all times. I can't remember in past years where the sheriff department was involved in so many arrest. Mike you are doing one heck of a job, keep it up.

  3. Joe, please give credit where credit is due. This case was not solved by the Wicomico County Sheriff's Dept. This case was solved by the Wicomico Bureau of Investigation. Which you very well know is made up of Detectives from from the Wicomico County Sheriff's Dept and the Maryland State Police Barrack in Salisbury. Without their combined efforts a case of this magnitude would never have been solved.

  4. Joe:

My nose tells me you are 'following the money' in true Boss Hogg style.

PLEASE elaborate on why the dump has been shut down?

Did the suspects try to bury some evidence and the good cops are getting their hands dirty?

This should be a lesson to the good cops in Worcester County that they are going to have to dig through lots of crap to nail the Pocomoke City Hall Gang.

    Thanks for getting after them!

  12. My name is Daniel W Parsons and I was directed to this site by a friend that said my name was being used. This is addressed to the anonymous sources using the name Danny Parsons. I know there are other people that share my name, however, if you are speaking of me, Dan Parsons, owner of The Parsons Group let me set your mind as ease. Feel free to give Sherriff Lewis a call so that he may stop by and see the weekly bills for fuel deliveries, weekly bills for tires changes, or anything else that is being questioned about our company. If the above comments or questions are not about me or my company would someone please clarify.

  15. I was reading on delmarva now which I believe is the daily times paper some jerk wanting to know who the Oil company was that supplied the county. WHO CARES!!! It's not there responsibility to police what the county should have been keeping an eye on. I can't believe that the great Wicomico County wasn't keeping track of inventory going in tanks & inventory going out into trucks. What are you thinking!!!!!!!

  19. Everytime I see the sheriff's wonderful troop they are parked outside of Chik-Filet. Not one, but three or four vehicles at a time.

Who's watching our streets then. Give credit where credit is due. You don't see them in the bad neighborhoods do you?

This is small game. There's some bigger fish in this game.

You people need to wake up this is 2008 not Mayberry 1960
