It's on the agenda for the Council meeting next Monday -- it's not necessary to discuss this at a work session before then.

    It's a done deal.

    Who are these people?

  4. They are two wonderful people who represent the Friends and Docents of The Salisbury Zoo. They work as Volunteers tirelessly and unconditionally and deserve to be in these positions. Quite frankly, the Zoo is VERY fortunate to have them.

My beef is how they already aproved ir without it going to Council first.

  6. It would seem to me that such an approval would require a vote of the council in open session! Guess we do as we damn well please in this town though!

  7. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and RELAX! This is merely a copy of the proposed resolution(s). They don't go into effect until after the council votes on them.

Few are more critical of Barrie Tilghman or her council cohorts than I, but this is not a conspiracy.

  8. Mr. Harrison is correct. If you look at other resolutions in the briefing books, they contain the language about passing it at the meeting it's raised.
