SPD Press Release

The Salisbury Police Department is pleased to announce the start of our annual “COPS FOR KIDS” toy drive. The program provides toys, clothing items, school supplies, and non-perishable food items for disadvantaged children living within the corporate city limits of Salisbury. The items collected are wrapped and delivered directly to the families by Santa Claus on Christmas Eve. The “COPS FOR KIDS” drive has assisted hundreds of children over it’s ten-year existence and is organized and staffed by volunteer members of the Salisbury Police Department.

Any questions regarding the program can be directed to Officer First Class Tanya Ehrisman at 410-548-3165 ext. 1172.

In addition new, unopened toys and non-perishable food items can be deposited at drop boxes located at the following locations:

Update On Christmas Parade

As much as the Anti Albero Bloggers want people to believe SBYNEWS.COM didn't get the reception I stated we did, I came to learn PAC14 will be rebroadcasting the Parade sometime soon.

That being said, wait till you see when the SBYNEWS.COM Truck pulls up and we're announced! This is when THEY, (Anti Albero Bloggers) get real quiet because the proof is in the pudding.

WCSO Press Release

On 12-1-2007 at approximately 11:30 PM, Deputies from the WCSO responded to 29136 Santa Fe Drive, Salisbury, Maryland, in reference to a Home Invasion with a possible victim of a gunshot wound.

Upon arriving at the scene, Deputies found one victim in the residence suffering from TWO gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center where they are listed in critical condition.

At this time there are two or three possible suspects of an unknown race. The Wicomico County Bureau of Investigations are continuing to interview witnesses.

Is It Just Me?

Has anyone noticed how The Daily Times is looking exactly like Salisbury News this past week?

It seems to me that every story I've been putting out there, they have been following. A day later, two days later, it doesn't matter. I personally think it's kind of cool that I'm keeping them in check and quite frankly I'm enjoying it when they out scoop me on something because I just kick back and think, I'm one person, they have a Staff of over 200!

There are some that come here and complain, even with my spelling. This Site is free and you're reading far more stories of INTEREST than you are from the Daily Slime. As you can hear the high heels clicking down the Plaza and the lights are all dim, BITE ME!

Where was The Daily Slime yesterday when Barrie was pitching a fit over being in 9th position. OK, let me straighten that out even more. EVEN IF The Daily Slime was right there, do ANY of YOU believe they would have printed it? NOPE! Why, because their pussies, that's why. Look at the last two or three articles I put up today. Do YOU think the Daily Slime would ever challenge this Administration with such articles and or TRUTH?

Like I said in the past, I'd like to see that Witch walk through my front door with the entire Council screaming and yelling. She, (and they) would go back out the door in cuffs!

Westwood Does It Again!

Remember the Water Tower the Commercial Development Westwood was going to build and then donate it to the City? LIKE NO ONE SAW THIS ONE COMING! It's mysteriously on HOLD!

So how did we find out? NOT because the Mayor, Louise or Bubba told us. We found out at a Planning & Zoning meeting when one of the Board Members asked if there was going to be any signage on the Tower. The response was, well, that's now on hold.

No Water Tower is going in Ladies & Gentlemen. Dunn, Cathcart, Comegys and Tilghman LIED to everyone but they say the Lords Prayer before every meeting!

The City is sorely lacking above ground water storage and this was a part of the agreement for them to be annexed and start moving forward at Westwood. I stand corrected. It was NOT a part of the annexation agreement. It was a proposed gift to ENCOURAGE such an annexation. SCUMBAGS!

Louise Smith Is Trying To Sabotage Debbie Campbell

A few weeks ago the City Council held a Work Session in which everyone came to a unanimous decision referencing annexations.

Debbie Campbell stated she felt the Council need to have a FULL DAY Work Session referencing annexations and the Council ultimately agreed. However, as the past two week have passed, GET THIS! Louise Smith chose to take it down to a half day, rather than an entire day. But Wait, it gets even better.

Even though Debbie Campbell brought the entire subject to the table and asked for a full days worth of discussion, Debbie has a regular Work Schedule and would you believe the ONE DAY when Debbie Campbell CANNOT be there, they chose that day to be the day to hold the Work Session! I know for a fact that Debbie has requested changes in these kind of meetings when Shanie & or Gary couldn't be there, so why not an exception for Debbie?

I have personally seen just about enough of this BULLSHIT! Louise Smith is purposely sabotaging Debbie Campbell knowing elections are around the corner and they want to use her lack of attending meetings against her. I FIRMLY believe Barrie Tilghman, Gary Comegys, Lynn Cathcart and others are behind this charade and the people need to stand up to Louise and STOP this behavior NOW!

Look Louise, (YOU IDIOT) Debbie is the one that came up with the idea and now you want to drop her out of it? Then you picked a Wednesday, when Debbie clearly asked and everyone agree during the Work Session that a weekend would work best? YOU chose a day when the Public nor Debbie could attend?

YOU people need to do something about this woman Ladies & Gentlemen and that includes the rest of the Council and Mayor. I can only do so much!

The Salisbury Kennel Club Is A Huge Winner At The Christmas Parade

Not only did the SKC win the Best Animal Float, these guys & gals won the Grand Marshall Award to boot! CONGRATULATIONS SALISBURY KENNEL CLUB!

One Year Ago Today

There's a new Sheriff in Town and his name is Mike Lewis. Can you believe it Folks? It was one year ago today I took this photo of the Christmas Parade whereas Mike Lewis represented the Sheriff's Department for Wicomico County. Look at all the fantastic things that have happened since too! I believe that car is now in the scrap yard too. Hey, is that Chiefy Baker driving that old rag? LOL

As I'd Like To Take Credit For This, I Can't. Mayor Tilghman Is Doing It On Her Own.

The Salisbury Christmas Parade Truly Paid Off!

My hits so far this morning are already 60% of a record day! There's no question in my mind, being in the Christmas Parade was positive advertising for this Blog and I'd like to thank ALL of you for visiting.

Talk About A BITCH!

I'm a daily reader of your blog, but normally don't have a lot to contribute... until now.

Because of my position I would rather remain anonymous (I know, the coward's way--but even a coward has to continue putting food on the table), but I think someone needs to say something about the way I and many others observed Mayor Tilghman act during the Salisbury Christmas Parade. Upon being told her position in the parade lineup, she rolled down her window and actually shouted at one of the volunteers "The MAYOR is number NINE?"

She then went on a tirade, stating she didn't want to be behind the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office OR the bookmobile--which I actually thought was a nice touch, placing the sheriff's tactical command unit (old bookmobile) in front of the library's new bookmobile. But I digress. The mayor went on to ask, "Who's parade is this?" When told it was the Salisbury Jaycees' (parade sponsor) parade, she threatened, "Well WHO lets you have it here?" Around that time, Louise Smith joined in the argument, as well. The county (not city) council members, also lined up in that area, just watched and listened in disbelief as she continued to disrespect the county, its sheriff's office and its library.

The Jaycees caved and let her have her way, moving her up closer to the front. I never would have, but I guess they do have to work with her for next year. I understand she told the organizers there WOULD be a meeting this week to address the "shabby" way she was treated, what with being placed behind the sheriff's office and everything. Interesting to note that until last year, I can't remember a single Christmas parade she bothered to attend. Maybe we were better off! And according to the Jaycees, she was number nine, behind the sheriff's office in that parade, as well.

Just one more example of our illustrious mayor's outrageous behavior. Being a lousy politician (which she is) is one thing, but this was just flat out being a lousy human being.

Anyway, I've said my piece. Aside from that incident, I thought the parade was very good this year. God bless the Jaycees, especially if they have to put up with her again next year!"

I happened to be there and snapped off this photo in the process. Barrie Tilghman was being a complete Bitch and I couldn't care less what anyone thinks about my being in a lawsuit with the woman or not. This woman is OUT OF CONTROL and so power hungry she'll do anything to get attention and her way.

Well, guess what Barrie. YOU just got the attention of many thousands of people this morning, you Idiot! I personally believe she was pissed because I wasn't very far behind her in the line up. LOL It's NOT your Parade, Idiot!

SBYNEWS.COM Joins Christmas Parade

Although my original intent was to bring the 40' Gulfstream Motor Coach into the Parade, too many people were riding me about it not being environmentally friendly, so I had to bag the BIG surprise. Being that it has a generator on it, I would have light that puppy up like there's no tomorrow and had a little more fun but I couldn't disagree with the end result and impression so I brought the Hemi and had a BLAST!

One of the other surprises was the FACT that SBYNEWS.COM was the very first spot after the dignitaries, so you truly couldn't get a better position. The Jaycees did a fantastic job once again this year with the exception of one mistake that will be featured in an upcoming Post. Sit tight this morning Ladies & Gentlemen because there's a Post coming that will blow you away!

As I pulled up to Mt. Hermon Road, I wondered just what kind of reception I was going to get in this Parade. The Anti Albero Blogs, (so I'm told) are doing everything they can to rag on me about being in the Parade. The funny part is, the reception was overwhelming! People standing and cheering, thanking me for all that I do, it was just unbelievable. Even one of the people working at the Zoo was cheering me on, honestly. The funny part about that was, she didn't read the signs on the truck and she was waving and yelling Merry Christmas and then all of a sudden she saw the signs and her jaw dropped to the ground, UH OH! Nice to see you again Mary! ROTFLMAO!

Mr. Holland Wants To Celebrate With All Of You

Look, when it comes to all of those days when I'm dead tired from putting in so many hours with this Blog, going to meetings I really don't want to go to, I look up when I arrive and MOST of the time, there's Mr. Holland. It doesn't matter if it's a City Council Meeting, Work Session, a Meeting at the Civic Center with the County Council, Mr. Holland is in most cases standing/sitting right there.

Here's a guy who walks with a cane and when he sits or stands, it's extremely evident just how painful a task it is on this man. That's why it sometimes pisses me off when I am subjected to the Lord's Prayer with the City Council, KNOWING 100% they couldn't care less what the meaning of that prayer is because the Mayor will flat out LIE anyway, hence the bottled water, the Zoo, the WWTP and the list goes on and on. Louise Smith with I'm all about accountability. Anyhow, I won't go on a rampage because my point is, this man cares about his community and even with all that pain, even as slow a pace as it takes this man to get to the podium, HE DOES MORE THAN 99% OF YOU. I'm never tired any more when I see this man in a room.

I'm proud to see he was in one of the leading vehicles in this Parade as this man actually represents and does everything in his powers to protect all of your interests. So Thank You Mr. Holland, for all that you do. Merry Christmas to you.

The Salisbury Christmas Parade

Sheriff Mike Lewis and his Family began the Christmas Parade making all of us very proud. I thought I'd add the "Urban Assault Vehicle" to this Post so everyone can see just what the Sheriff's Department had done with the old Book Mobile. Now it's used as a Chuck Wagon to serve hot and cold food for the hungry Officers needing a more balanced and nutritious meal. Can you say Campbell's Hard Meal Soup? LOL

More to come on the Christmas Parade. Wait till I get to the Mayor story, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!

This Passenger In This City Vehicle Isn't Wearing A Seat Belt!!!!

If you're wondering why, it's because the passenger is a DOG! I took this photo yesterday, (Sunday) on my way to the Parade. I was riding down Rt. 50 and saw the vehicle and took a double take when I saw this huge dog inside. Take Home Vehicles are one thing but sporting your Lab around using City gas as well, that's a bit overboard, wouldn't you agree?

Congressional Candidate Andy Harris Speaks About His Recent Visit To Our Eastern Shore

Last week we spent a lot of time campaigning on the Lower Shore. Monday, I spoke to the Wicomico County Republican Club. The next morning we started bright and early on the Bill Reddish Show (1320AM WICO), and then had a great breakfast at Dayton’s in Salisbury with some local folks. I then spent a full hour on Jack Gillen’s Show on WQMR 101.1FM talking about issues ranging from the peace conference in Annapolis to beach replenishment. I had lunch at Taylor’s in Ocean Pines and then spent the afternoon knocking on doors in Ocean Pines. I was extremely encouraged because not a single person I met said they were voting for my opponent. Tuesday night I spoke to the DelMar Republican Women.

I described my schedule on the Lower Shore Monday and Tuesday because I learned a key fact while down there. As I traveled throughout the Lower Shore, I learned the key issues important to voters are the same no matter where I am in the district. Voters want lower taxes and decreased wasteful government spending. They want a candidate who will vote to secure our borders and oppose all forms of amnesty for illegal immigrants. Voters want a leader who will help our country win the Global War on Terror. Finally, they want a congressman who shares their traditional family values. I am the only candidate with the consistent conservative record that will represent the values voters want in their congressman.

As I continue to travel throughout the district, I am going to continue to preach my message of consistent conservative leadership. It is time for a change in Washington and I will bring that change. I hope each of you will visit our website and sign up to help our campaign.
