Remember the Water Tower the Commercial Development Westwood was going to build and then donate it to the City? LIKE NO ONE SAW THIS ONE COMING! It's mysteriously on HOLD!
So how did we find out? NOT because the Mayor, Louise or Bubba told us. We found out at a Planning & Zoning meeting when one of the Board Members asked if there was going to be any signage on the Tower. The response was, well, that's now on hold.
No Water Tower is going in Ladies & Gentlemen. Dunn, Cathcart, Comegys and Tilghman LIED to everyone but they say the Lords Prayer before every meeting!
The City is sorely lacking above ground water storage and this was a part of the agreement for them to be annexed and start moving forward at Westwood. I stand corrected. It was NOT a part of the annexation agreement. It was a proposed gift to ENCOURAGE such an annexation. SCUMBAGS!
The Rinnier development corp is asking for another annexation today at the work session, are they the same deal? Did you also read about the 2.3 million in unspent bond money that was unnoticed, and yet the council is debating a new 3.2 million dollar bond ? WTF is going on?
ReplyDeleteTerry Cohen or Debbie Campbell asked the question at the last council meeting. That is when the unspent money was mentioned.
ReplyDeleteI think it was Debbie because I remember her saying we are still paying interest on that unused borrowed money by the Gypsies, Tramps and thieves!
The 2.3 million didn't go unnoticed, Debbie Campbell noticed it and brought it to the forefront. Of course Pam Oland had to chime in with the Mayors excuse for why that money is sitting around.
ReplyDeleteIs this why Summerfield is putting infrastructure "on hold" because they can build without the expenditure for "promised" infrastructure. I think 2.3 million would build a small water tower????
