SPD Allegedly Clears The Air On Dispatcher Being Fired?

"I will tell you, you are wrong. No one knows better why the dispatcher was fired than those who actually dealt with him. There were several reason for him to be fired. If you did your homework right you would see that he went through three different training periods because he wasn't up to par. He did not do things the way he should, he did not take his job seriously, he did not dispatch officer's to calls when they were called in. Bottom line is, he didn't do the job right. You don't have to get into details about the dispatcher because you obviously have no clue what you're talking about. How about you talk to the lady who called to report a possible B&E which he conveniently forgot to enter into the system and dispatch officer's to."

This Deserves A Post

Lynn Cathcart didn't run again so she could spend more time with the grandbabies.

Yeah. Sure. Right.

Lynn Cathcart is spending time at nearly every city council meeting, sometimes bent over the table before or after, yakking it up with Louweasel Smith.

Smells more like Lynn Cathcart took a sabbatical to let Louweasel get in, after Lousweasel duped Debbie Campbell, Terry Cohen, Tim Spies and their supporters so Cathcart, counting on fading voter memories, could reappear to run against Campbell.

Look at what she cares about: Annexations. Yeah, Lynn Cathcart said yes to everything without understanding a thing, and screwed the taxpayers.

Unity on the council. Yeah, Louweasel's mantra. And "their" idea of "unity" is to rubber stamp without question what the mayor wants.

I ran into Terry Cohen a few weeks ago and thanked her for what she and Debbie Campbell are trying to do, but told her I didn't know how she stood it.

She just smiled and said, "It's a pleasure to serve. I just remember I'm here for the citizens."

Damn if that doesn't say it all!
No way in hell would I ever cast a vote for Lynn Cathcart over Debbie Campbell. For whatever petty gripes people may have with Campbell, she has ALWAYS impressed me as being on OUR side, the CITIZENS' side. She has no money, power, connections or ego trip going about this position. She's simply fighting for a better place for us to live and to have our government work FOR us, instead of AGAINST us.

Cathcart? Well, that picture of her with the premier landlords of Salisbury said it all.

Swift Answers

In the case of the WCSO Deputy, there are a few things to consider. One, the man was arrested. Two, the man was suspended WITHOUT pay. Now, if you're a Police Officer, you know when someone is suspended and they take away his pay, you're in deep shit! Three, I have interviewed numerous people in this particular case and yes, in America you are innocent until proven guilty. However, this SOB isn't going to get out of Jail Ladies & Gentlemen!

Like I said from the beginning, sometimes we know right from wrong and or who's innocent or guilty. This guy, (IMO) is in deep shit and that's all there is to it, end of story. So some of you can go on and on about why aren't people attacking the victims in this case. First of all, Idiot, they are CHILDREN! Secondly, Mike Lewis isn't going to make an Officer come in, take your badge and gun, remove all powers from you as a Police Officer, take away 100% of your pay and throw handcuffs on one of his own men IF they hadn't done something VERY serious and concrete. I'll add, he also wouldn't arrest him/her unless he firmly believed this person was guilty as sin with a ton of evidence to boot.

I want to make something VERY clear here. I have not personally seen the evidence in this case. However, I do 100% trust my sources and Charles McMichael is NOT coming out of Jail for many, many years! So I'm asking ALL of you to please stop pointing fingers at the victims here. You'll simply need to trust me when I tell you the guy is in very deep shit and unless he gets off on a technicality, he's going away for a long time.

Married Life

Wedding Anniversary:

Ed was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was REALLY angry.

She told him, "Tomorrow morning I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less then 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!"

The next morning Ed got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, and brought the box back in the house.

She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale.

Ed has been missing since Friday.

Please pray for him.

The Daily Times Doesn't Deliver Again Today

Well, I have taken the long walk twice already this morning to the mailbox in the hope that I'd finally get my Sunday Daily Slime. Needless to say, I've wasted two trips because there is NO freakin paper!

I did happen to go on line and viewed Joe G's forever long article about Downtown and all the stupid studies that will prove Downtown is the place to be and you're going to make millions if you move there. Of course they made no mention of my purchasing 300 W. Main Street. Then again, they're not nick named the Tilghman Times for nothing. The lights were dim and the clatter of high heels walking through the Plaza, blah, blah, blah! Then what Joe, I popped out of the bushes scaring the shit out of the woman in high heels and said, have you got a minute for a few questions? Joe G, Daily Times. LOL

Anyhow, although I use the DT for material on this Blog, it just doesn't seem to be worth the aggravation walking to the end of the driveway all the time and that bummer feeling of, it's cold as sh*t out here and I walked all this way for nothing again? It may just be time to give up the ghost and call it quits with the printed copy any more.

Tell me Folks. How many of you still get a printed copy of The Daily Times? By the way Folks. Once I post this, the DT delivers to my home within 15 minutes. They send a special vehicle, (at times) just to make sure I get my paper because they know what kind of damage these Posts do to them. I'm NOT trying to hurt them. Just expose I pay for a service just like all of you but I don't get what I'm paying for.

Congratulations Michael Shwartz @ Monoblogue!

You know something has to be wrong with Blognetnews if Delmarva Dealings is ranked 20th and they haven't posted anything in a month? Nevertheless, Michael has been working VERY hard to get to this position and IMO deserves it more than any Blog in the State of Maryland. Fortunately, (this week) Blognetnews feels the same way. I know I rag on Michael at times about his lengthy posts but Michael is considered a friend and I truly respect his work. Although very different from my own, Michael has a place and obviously proved this week that he has what it takes to be in the top 10, let alone #1.

Doesn't it just blow you away that the top 3 Blogs in the entire State are from the Eastern Shore? Oh well, congratulations to ALL of you. Michael, it looks like those links finally brought you over the top. You should be very proud!

A sincere congratulations goes out to Boss Hogg down in Pocomoke for coming in 3rd place as well. I personally think it was the Fireman's Parade, oh, wait a minute, I mean the Christmas Parade, how could they, I mean, forget Jesus? Some of those Idiots out there still think that Parade is about Firemen and showing off their big red trucks. ROTFLMAO!

One Year Ago Today

One year ago today I received a telephone call from the Maryland State Police asking for our help. They had come upon a wild deer that appeared to be injured but they couldn't get close to it. Each time they attempted to get close it would run away from them.

My Wife Jennifer and I immediately took off to the scene whereas I had never seen what you have just seen in the photos above. It takes a VERY special person to be able to simply walk up to a wild animal, comfort it and then take it into your arms and many of us stood there in awe as Jennifer did just that.

We kept trying to tell the Mayor of Salisbury just how special this 18 year veteran/Vet Tech was at the Salisbury Zoo but the Mayor chose Jim Rapp over Jennifer and now all of you see the end results. Rapp is gone as well as each and every individual that treated Jennifer poorly while she was employed there.

Nevertheless, this was a very special day for me personally. Sadly, the deer was badly injured and could not survive in the wild and we had to humanely euthanize the animal. At least it went peacefully and didn't get hit by a car and injur someone and or their family.

That's pretty cool though, isn't it?

A Year Ago Today

One year ago, Giant closed its doors in North Salisbury leaving behind a huge amount of vacant space and less jobs for Salisbury. If you were with us back then you'll remember all the mold and mildew also left behind as clearly seen in the photos above. Once the equipment is gone you can finally see what's left behind. And the Health Department was where?

A Christmas Letter

Dear Children,

It has come to my attention that many of you are upset that folks are
taking My name out of the season. Maybe you've forgotten that I
wasn't actually born during this time of the year and that it was
some of your predecessors who decided to celebrate My birthday on
what was actually a time of pagan festival. Although I do appreciate
being remembered anytime.

How I personally feel about this celebration can probably be most
easily understood by those of you who have been blessed with children
of your own. I don't care what you call the day. If you want to
celebrate My birth, just GET ALONG AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER.

Now, having said that let Me go on. If it bothers you that the town
in which you live doesn't allow a scene depicting My birth, then just
get rid of a couple of Santas and snowmen and put in a small Nativity
scene on your own front lawn. If all My followers did that there
wouldn't be any need for such a scene on the town square because
there would be many of them all around town.

Stop worrying about the fact that people are calling the tree a
holiday tree, instead of a Christmas tree. It was I who made all
trees. You can remember Me anytime you see any tree. Decorate a grape
vine if you wish: I actually spoke of that one in a teaching,
explaining who I am in relation to you and what each of our tasks
were. If you have forgotten that one, look up John 15: 1 - 8.

If you want to give Me a present in remembrance of My birth here is
my wish list. Choose something from it:

1. Instead of writing protest letters objecting to the way My
birthday is being celebrated, write letters of love and hope to
soldiers away from home. They are terribly afraid and lonely this
time of year. I know, they tell Me all the time.

2. Visit someone in a nursing home. You don't have to know them
personally. They just need to know that someone cares about them.

3. Instead of writing George complaining about the wording on the
cards his staff sent out this year, why don't you write and tell him
that you'll be praying for him and his family this year. Then follow
up. It will be nice hearing from you again.

4. Instead of giving your children a lot of gifts you can't afford
and they don't need, spend time with them. Tell them the story of My
birth, and why I came to live with you down here. Hold them in your
arms and remind them that I love them.

5. Did you know that someone in your town will attempt to take their
own life this season because they feel so alone and hopeless? Since
you don't know who that person is, try giving everyone you meet a
warm smile; it could make the difference.

6. Instead of nit picking about what the retailer in your town calls
the holiday, be patient with the people who work there. Give them a
warm smile and a kind word. Even if they aren't allowed to wish you
a "Merry Christmas" that doesn't keep you from wishing them one. Then
stop shopping there on Sunday. If the store didn't make so much money
on that day they'd close and let their employees spend the day at
home with their families.

7. If you really want to make a difference, support a missionary--
especially one who takes My love and Good News to those who have
never heard My name.

8. Here's a good one. There are individuals and whole families in
your town who not only will have no "Christmas" tree, but neither
will they have any presents to give or receive. If you don't know
them, buy some food and a few gifts and give them to the Salvation
Army or some other charity which believes in Me and they will make
the delivery for you.

9. Finally, if you want to make a statement about your belief in and
loyalty to Me, then behave like a Christian. Don't do things in
secret that you wouldn't do in My presence. Let people know by your
actions that you are one of mine.

Don't forget; I am God and can take care of Myself. Just love Me and
do what I have told you to do. I'll take care of all the rest. Check
out the list above and get to work; time is short. I'll help you, but
the ball is now in your court. And do have a most blessed Christmas
with all those whom you love and remember,

I LOVE YOU,

JESUS
