Slight Relief At The Pumps
Gas prices have dropped in recent days but IMO gas should be no more than $1.25 a gallon, period! We use it like water today and if you were to calculate just how much money our Government is making each and every day at the pumps you'd be blown away!
Then there's that stupid sign at the pumps at some gas stations telling you that you can't use your cell phone at the pumps. Myth Busters proved long ago that there simply was no possible way a cell phone could spark a fire, period! They tried every possible way and it just can't happen, so take these signs down.
Some Towns Have A Tunnel Of Love. Salisbury Has It's Own Tunnel Of Darkness!
This tunnel is pitch black inside where drug deals, graffiti and all sorts of unwanted things can happen without ever being seen. There are light fixtures above but like so many other fixtures throughout the City, the lamps aren't being replaced.
My guess would be, if the lights are out, that means the City is paying less in electricity and the Mayor is all about that idea. Of course it's at the risk of everyone else.
If You Missed Visiting The Train Clubs Open House Yesterday, Don't Miss It Today!
It was packed house yesterday and I couldn't get my little guy out of there once we arrived! From infants to adults in their 80's, I overheard one elderly man say to his wife, "If you hadn't told me about this place honey, I would have never known about it."
I also rant into three people who came up to me and said, "Are you Joe Albero?" I read your Blog every single day and if it weren't for you, we would have never known about this place. I hope it brought in record numbers and donations because this place is really cool!
Thanks for sharing it with everyone.
Show Me The Light!
The other day I showed a picture of parking lot 15 where a major light in the parking lot was out and hadn't been repaired in weeks. It's still not working and as a result there have been 3 vehicles with their windows smashed out and items stolen from their cars.
We move down Main Street now where there is yet another street light out and a huge graffiti mural is painted on a brick wall not far from the burned out light. You can see the fixture burned out if you look close enough in the center of this picture.
Let me just say this Folks. Not only is this an enhancement for criminal territory, it risks our Police Officers as they cannot easily see into these areas where evident danger/crime has been occurring.
I'm sorry Mr. Jacobs, am I costing the City Taxpayers more money again by making you people do your job once again?

Don't Adjust Your Screen!
Don't even put on your glasses! These photos are actually in focus. The Mayor simply feels that everyone should get a GPS system in their vehicles and couldn't care less about street signs any more. These pictures were taken right on East Main Street. If it weren't for the flash, you wouldn't be able to read these letters at all. Unbelievable!
