Wicomico County Executive Richard M. Pollitt, Jr. will deliver his annual “State of the County” address on Friday, December 28th at 10:00 A.M. in the City/County Council Chambers of the Government Office Building.
Mr. Pollitt has been Wicomico County’s first elected executive since December of 2006. The County Charter requires that the Executive deliver a “state of the county” address before the end of each calendar year.
Rick is on it, unlike the one down the hall from him. Tell Barrie don't worry about giving a state of the city address, we all know the state this city is in and it is way beyond the state of confusion.
ReplyDeleteBut, Barrie does her spiel in January, a few days after the President's State of the Union Address (which she sees as the opening act for her paramount performances.
ReplyDeleteThat's all very nice, but inquiring minds want to hear the latest about Dr. Daffy and Mr. Cornflakes. What's happening south of the border?
ReplyDeleteBet he mentions several times about the damn 2% property tax cap.
ReplyDeleteIf Pollitt would take enough time to put down his fork and put that energy in cutting the pork out of county budget then he would have something good to talk about in his address.Pollitt could lay-off at least 30% of our county employees excluding school teachers and law enforcemnet and the county would not notice anything different in the services they provide. We could take these savings and hire the best teachers and law enforcement personel.
