As I continue to keep an eye on some of these local structures, it becomes more evident they're shifting more and more, even to a point one has completely come down and crumbled. I believe it won't be long before the first Barn crashes as there are more signs the building has shifted again since the last time I took a picture. One good snow and that puppy is going down. Let's just hope no people of livestock are inside when it does?
you hear about that horrible fire that killed that poor family last night? what a tragedy!

Beauty 'til the end!
They knocked down that old house on west bound Rt50 this week just past Rockawalkin.
ReplyDeleteI cant believe people actually lived in it with it sagging like that-
ReplyDeleteWhen I think of the Eastern Shore, I think of that second picture--a Lincoln Town Car in front of a peice of sh!t barn.
ReplyDeleteteacherlady, You must originally be from Baltimore with the other idiots who raised housing and cost of living on the shore and ruined it. Go HOME!

No, Asshole, I'm Eastern Shore, born and bred. Educated at Fruitland Primary/Intermediate, Bennett Middle/Bennett High, went to Salisbury State. I just think that sometimes we show the rest of the world just how truly redneck we all are sometimes.
With that said, little boy, BITE ME.
touched a nerve, hmm teacherlady has a sensative side... Well with people like you who live here, no wonder this place has gone to hell. You prove them right everyday you open your mouth.
ReplyDeleteDang, looks like "housing stock" that SAPOA might be interested in renting out to Mexicans!

Not sensitive at all. Just trying to prove a point. I've always been very proud of where I came from, and always will be. I strive to be an example of the fine family I came from. My point was this--the people from B-More are the ones that have made it shitty here and raised the cost of living. Do you know that where I live now, I can get twice the house I could get here for half the money? And I'm talking a nice house in an excellent neighborhood. There is also little crime, a city council whose biggest problem is whether or not to install brick streets in a historical district, and people who actually care about other human beings.
Also, I can go to the Wal-Mart where I live and get treated with respect. I have never been hostile or mean to anyone, as I have worked in retail before. So, before you start blaiming the people from here for all the negativity, why don't you look in the mirror? If you want to be respected and not viewed as a stupid redneck with no sense, why don't you wise up and think about the absurdity of that picture. If a "from here" would say that, you know someone from a big city would say it, too.
And, the only reason that the housing prices and cost of living have gone up so much is because the Baltimorons come here and you allow them to take advantage of you. If you don't like my "take no prisoners" style, you don't have to respond. And if you do want to, don't be a candy-ass--sign your name, or at least get a Blogger ID.
