The Exxon on Snow Hill Road near Nutters Crossing was robbed at gun point this evening. It is said that two black males were involved and were successful in getting away. More details as they come in........
This past Saturday night I was informed by the manager at the Shore Stop -(Denise)- across from the Twilley Center that the Shore Stop on College Avenue was robbed by two black men at gunpoint at approximately 9:30 p.m. this past Saturday night 12-22-07.
Then, her store -(Shore Stop across from Twilley Centre) - was also robbed this past Monday night by two black men at gunpoint at approximately 9:30 p.m. 12-24-07.
I couldn't help but read your post on yet another robbery.
Man-O-Man is this town an unsafe place or what!!!
Be careful anywhere you go in the Town of Salisbury. . .seriously.
Mr. Anonymous, When you have a police chief that lives in Crisfield/Ocean City this is what you get.Its what u call big city policing. You "AINT" seen nothing yet.
I lived in College Park back the late 70's, way back then after a certain time most convenience stores locked their doors and did all of their business behind bullet proof glass and through a drawer that you put your money in and the checkout person delivered your stuff the same way.
With so much uncontrolled growth, city police not keeping up with growth, such as officers per capita ratio, it was bound to come here next, the citizens are sitting ducks.
Let Salisbury be an example to some smaller towns that are starting to wake up to overgrowth.
Three reasons no one would Rob Johnny's. 1. They close before it get close to being dark. 2. There are allways packed. 3. They are very POLICE friendly. Great Food, Great Prices, Great Customer Serivce. The Rt. 12 store has been robbed a couple times a year since they opened. There open to late, and they are so far from the normal police patrols.
If the lazy pigs from the WCSO would spend time at the Rt 12 Exxon, it wouldnt get robbed! Oh im sorry, they spend all there time at there residences while on duty or at Denny's. I guess Denny's would be the equilavent to Johnny's at 3:00 am when you can find anywhere between 4-8 deputies in there eating while they are suppose to be patrolling the county.
Uh oh...7:00 and 10:09 sounds upset. File a complaint, if you have one. Other than that, if you think you're up to it, try and become a Cop and do something about it and stop running your trap.
I am a COP and have been for many years! I am just tired of people assuming that everything that happens inside the County is ultimately the Citys fault.

ReplyDelete9:30 seems to be the time...Suggest all lock in just before that time...

ReplyDeleteThe Rt 12 Exxon is in the WCSO jurisdiction and has nothing to do with the City. So blame the Great WCSO!
ReplyDeleteThey don't rob johnny's because the lazy pigs from SPD spend all their time in there.

I dont think Joe posted this with the intentions of cutting down the departments involved or the ones that had absolutely nothing to do with it!
ReplyDelete11:13 go serve some papers and shut up.
