I'm told there were three applicants that met with the Mayor and the Zoo Commission and the end result was, NO. As a matter of fact, I'm told the applicants were told
"they were going in a different direction."Ads are being run again with the AZA in the hopes of finding someone who knows how to build an Arc for all the animals, gearing up for the 100 year flood. Does anyone here know of someone named Noah? I'm told that will be a big added plus.
We really didn't have a real zoo director when Jim Ratt was working there, can't be much worse.
ReplyDeleteHow is that $250,000 glorified doghouse coming for the Red Wolf? Who is the contractor for that job? Alessi?
Maybe it will be done in time for the 425th anniversary of Captain John Smith mapping the Chesapeake Bay. That's only 18 years away~!
you worry so much about this 100 year flood. alot more areas around here besides the zoo will be affected that should be more worried about than the zoo. If I recall correctly the zoo area used to be humphries pond? It was drained after the depression and is now what it is.
