New Rules For Christmas Tree Lighting

The City of Salisbury will hold a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony tomorrow night at 5:00 PM at the GOB.

If you are more than 5' tall, you must stand across the West side of Division Street, across the street from the GOB. This is being conducted in order for the children to actually be able to see the tree.

  1. IF YOU GO ...

Don't miss these special nearby attractions:

    1. Duct tape display on the window above the main entrance to the Government Office Building.

    2. Xmas painting on the Downtown Plaza entrance to George, Miles & Buhr (GMB) -- near the world famous "chisel monument" and WMDT-Channel 47.

  2. I am assuming that if you have small children you can stay with them and not stand across the street? Maybe a stupid question!??

  8. Those who go to the Downtown Plaza after the lighting ceremony should remember (or realize if they don't know) that it's a street for vehicles -- don't lallygag in the middle or you could become a posthumous post on this blog as well as an obit in the "newspaper".

  9. The window artwork at the GOB has been selected for the Duct Tape Hall of Fame, soon to be opened in beautiful downtown Baghdad.
