!!!!!MAJOR BREAKING NEWS AGAIN!!!!!

A Wicomico County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested for Child Abuse and several Sexual Offenses on Minor Children.

The Officer was arrested today while attempting to pick up his own child at School. The Sheriff's Department wasted no time making sure there was an immediate separation of the two as soon as possible.

The Officer has been suspended without pay since it is a Federal Offense. ALL of his Police powers have been suspended as well.

At the Sheriff's request, he has asked the State Police to assist the C.A.C. (Child advocacy Center) in this investigation.

  4. All of a sudden all these police officers (not just here) but everywhere are getting hemmed up for getting caught doing bad things. When it rains it pours I guess. Nice job on getting the story out!!!!

  7. This goes to show that there are snakes in the grass every where you turn. This is shame that someone who is a sworn in professional in charge of keepping our community safe would do a disgusting act like this. This deputy will get what is coming to him when the cell door shuts. Inmates don't take to kindly to others who abuse kids. Glad to see that the information has been put out considering this incident would probably kept under wraps. Good job on sharing this information.

  9. Goodbye Deputy McMichael. When you are found guilty and sent off to the Federal Pen, enjoy yourself, Bubba will be waiting with open arms.

Way to go ace. Mike Lewis works hard to keep the WCSD in a positive light and you go off and molest someones daughters. We got a chopping block and dull cleaver for your balls too.

  10. When the SPD officer "raped" the woman his name was ALL OVER this website...who is this deputy? Its a shame, this is what our children look up to and it gives a bad name for all officers across the nation.

  11. Wait....I know that everyone is supposed to be innocentuntil proven guilty.....but I also know that in cases like this the arrest would not be made without enough evidence to convict. So.....if this is true, I hope Chuck McMicheals rots in prison. They love child molesters in prison just as much as they love police officers. I'd be willing to bet that this is not the first time his ass has done something like this. McMichaels, you sick f**k, you're supposed to be a pillar of the community. Look at the black eye you put on the Sheriff's Office. What a disgrace! I'll bet your parents are proud! The fact that you've created this situation that undermines the integrity of your fellow law enforcement officers puts a knot in my stomach. I could literally cry for the deputies left behind to be looked at by the public in that light. You fu***ng scumbag.

  12. wtf?

Joe do you know if its a man or a woman this time.

Did you ever get any follow up from the last local officer who was having sex on duty with a suspect?

    This is crazy...

It could be worse you could be in Pocomoke

  13. No, not a Sainted Sheriffs Deputy

  14. It is a sad day for law enforcement. If he is guilty he will fry. Either way he is done with that career. Hope nobody thinks bad of all other law enforcement officers. Sure there are a few bad apples in the bunch but what profession doesn't. Hope nobody looks down on the Sheriff's Office as they are being fully complainant with the investigation and has turned it over the investigation to another agency to make sure it is done without any conflict of interest. The Sheriff's Office is still very Professional.

  20. Can anyone verify if this is the same Charles H McMichael that was charged with domestic violence in Ocean City in 2002? If so why was he even hired as a law enforcement officer in the first place?
Go check the Maryland case search.

    ReplyDelete
  21. i dont get were they say he was only with the dept 15 months. He has cases all the way back to 2003 in the MD database

    ReplyDelete
  22. He was hired by the old administration...what a damn shame...

    ReplyDelete
  23. Looks like he was an OCPD Officer first. If not there is one that was there in 2004 by the exact same name.

    ReplyDelete
  24. If you are trying to point a finger at Mike Lewis for hiring McMichael, look again. Mike has only been Sheriff a little over a year now, the Daily Crime says this guy is a 15 month veteran of WCSD.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Well actully, he was never "charged" criminally per what you posted. It's listed in the civil system under protective order status. There does not appear to be any criminal charges, again, from reading what you posted.

    ReplyDelete
  26. If this is the same and he was charged, most likely the charges were dropped or she refused to testify. This is what happens in most domestic case, not just police officers. Eventhough this would not prevent him from being hired it should have been a red-flag to the WCSO. Now it has come back to haunt them.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Yes it is the same Charles McMichael charged with domestic violence unfortunately as most of those cases go... Their were no criminal charges just the protective order

    ReplyDelete
  28. Former police officers and/or child molestors dont get put with the general population in prison.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Just because they aren't put in gen pop doesn't mean they can't be gotten to. Ask that 18y/o that went to ECI years ago for child molesting how his butt felt with 218 stitches in it. He's lucky, they let him live.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Why don't we wait until he's proven guilty before ya'll throw him to the wolves...for Christ's sake. Every other M.F.'r that goes to court or gets charges, ya'll profess their innocence to your death, even when they're found guilty or plead guilty! Just because he was a cop, doesn't mean that he's perfect. I agree that if he is guilty, FRY HIM!!! but why don't we wait like we do with other charged individuals. It's a freaking shame that he's alleged to have done this and that he's brought shame on a fine department with a great leader, but do you expect Lewis to know what's going on in every Deputies personal life???? Make me sick...

    ReplyDelete
  31. I happen to know many deputies within the sheriff's office and they are all beside themselves about this incident. None of them knew anything about it until it broke here on Joe's site, in fact I talked to one last night that had just talked to him at the office yesterday around lunch. But you can't group them all in a category together, did anyone stop to think that maybe his ex-wife or whatever she is may have stirred this up, believe me it wouldn't be the first time something like this has happened. Maybe she needs to be investigated as well. Sounds to me like maybe she is a little sore about a failed marriage and maybe he had a new love interest. But if the evidence does show he did these awful things, I hope he is locked up and the key is thrown away, I believe in zero tolerence for sex offenders, they are worse than murderers.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Nobody is blaming Sheriff Lewis for hiring him. The point is no matter who the boss was he should have never been hired. Blame whoever did his background investigation. They did a piss poor job as an investigator if they didnt uncover that

    ReplyDelete
  33. he was an ocpd when i filed the domestic violence charge and the peace order, they threatened to fire him and take his gun, i was so in love or thought i was so in love i dropped the charges thinking we would get back together which we kind of did, later on to finally end it completely when he was caught cheating on me with the woman he is now married too.

as for his ex-wife, she lives in arizona and wants nothing to do with him, she doesnt care enough to try and ruin his life.

    i honestly believe its true.

    sick bastard chuck mcmichael

always had a sick side, never believed it was this sick

    ReplyDelete
  34. Is it Florida where the police officer's 4th wife is missing? They are now looking at the remains of his second wife and one of his ex's has stated she was abused? Bad seed everywhere.....

I can't blame Mike Lewis, it sounds like his office took the matter very seriously and took swift action.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Damn right he/they did, as well as it should have been taken serious. As far as the information I've heard and what will be coming out...screw him...let him rot in the DOC general population. He's no brother. I, being part of the "Thin Blue Line", have no sympathy for him. He's on his own...these allegations are true...to the best of my understanding and I for one will not stand by him. Running a red light is one thing...but this is ABSOLUTELY F*C*I*G DISPICABLE! To hell with you McMichael's...you've brought shame to all of your brothers.

  36. you know what frustrates me... the fact that when the other case came out with the SPD rapeing a 18 year old on may 26, 2007 almost everyone jumped in the wagon to say that it was her fault...not once in this case have i seen that???? is it because the victims in this case were little girls or is it because you dont like the victim in the other case??? i just dont think that its fair that one case gets dogged on (meaning the victim) and then this case everyone doggs the officer and not the victim...i mean hell id spit on this dumb MOFO if he were standing next to me because i believe he did it and he did it more then once i believe...but it just frustrates me to see that not once was the victims called liers or anything else in this case...i think age shouldnt matter if the case with SPD was because of the girls age then thats just wrong and you all should be ashamed (to the ones that accussed her of lieing) it will all come out in the end....

    ReplyDelete
  37. no one was quick to feel sorry for the victim of the other case because, she was known for accusing people of raping, as she was also known for prostitution, she had done this before, doesnt make what he did right, but doesnt make her story sound legit either.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Sheriff Lewis did not hire him. He was hired under the old administration.

    ReplyDelete
  39. The victim was never known for prostitution. Never once did that victim ever was known for prostitution. I cant believe how so many people will try to discredit someonelses name get a life.
