The following was found around the Internet. It seems to me that Imus had his issues and now Dog has some of his own. The point here is, American's are NOT going to tolorate this and they will in fact be punished for doing so. Other Anti Albero Blogs are out there already supporting Dog and or anyone using the "N" Word.
A&E has canceled Dog: The Bounty Hunter following a tape that--of all people--The National Inquirer found where Dwayne "The Dog" Chapman repeatedly uses racial slurs for his son's black girlfriend.
"I don't care if she's a Mexican, a whore, whatever. It's not because she's black, it's because we use the word n- - - - - sometimes here [...] "I'm not going to take a chance ever in life of losing everything I've worked for, for 30 years, because some f- - -ing n- - - - - heard us saying n- - - - -. [...] It's that we use the word n- - - -. We don't mean, 'You f- - -ing scum n- - - - - without a soul... We don't mean that s- - -, but America would think we mean that."
The Dog apologized last night, and said he was ripping the girlfriend's character and not her race.
"I am deeply disappointed in myself for speaking out of anger to my son and using such a hateful term in a private conversation," Chapman said in his written apology.
A&E also released the following statement, "A&E has just learned of the story released by the National Enquirer concerning Duane Dog Chapman. We take this matter very seriously. Pending an investigation, we have suspended production on the series. When the inquiry is concluded we will take appropriate action."
Duane Chapman aka "Dog the Bounty Hunter" has a few problems tonight. First and foremost, he's a racist whose son is married to a black girl. Secondly, he has come under attack for spewing racial epithets, including the N-word, on an audio tape that may have been leaked or sold to the NATIONAL ENQUIRER by that same son. And his popular reality series was just cancelled by A&E.
Pastor Story said, "What shocked me was that he used the N word. I know he's not a racist. He's been to black churches with me to help inner-city kids."
The pastor, who married Duane and Beth, said he talked to a tearful Dog three times today and he apologized, saying he wasn't angry at the girl, it was anger toward his son.
No offense, but if he is so religious why does his wife look like a cheap hooker?Seriously.People will disagree with me,but I have always thought this guy is a big fake and it does not suprise me to see his facade coming apart for all to see
ReplyDeleteSomeone I know recently met Dog and I'm told he's a short little thing. Maybe Wit would like to take him into the ring and go 3 rounds with him? LMAO! Inside joke, Folks.
ReplyDeleteI want to know what the difference between rappers throwing out the N word all the time in there songs and so farth and that is ok? and they dont get put off the air for that? So what makes it any different? You have black people that say N word all the time but once a white person does it.. its wrong. Im not against black people one bit..one of my best friends are black. But i just dont see what the difference is.
ReplyDeleteNot to condone racism, but this is a symptom of a bigger problem, and that is the selective enforcement of the right to"free speech". Let's face it, "Dog" should not serve as a role model for anyone, but rather a TV "personality". We allow extremist minority speakers access to public forums daily. In this case, it was a father having a private conversation with his son. If you are going to defend non-whites, you have to also defend whites. It is time to end the "guilt" over slavery, and move forward as united, non hyphenated Americans.
ReplyDeleteWhen YOU become a Rapper, then YOU can OWN that comment. Till then, you're a standard white man who needs to show respect towards their race.
ReplyDeleteRapping, (like all music) is an art. You are performing no art here. You are simply trying to make it right by using excuses to use that word.
That's the difference. I'm NOT at all saying it's right for Rappers either. The NAACP has a tough road ahead of them trying to get the Music Industry to try and stop using that word.
Nevertheless, I have shown evidence that the NAACP is in fact trying and the Webster Dictionary has changed their definition of the word as well. NO MORE EXCUSES!
Speaking of sparring...
ReplyDeletedid you happen to catch the "incident" between Danny Bonaduce and that ass-weasel Johnny Fairplay(Survivor)?
My point is its always taken different when a white person says it. the N word is a ignorant person.. but when its said its taking as a race issue...but only when a white person says it. So what is the difference between a white and black person saying it?
ReplyDeleteFirst of all Americans can say the "N" word whenever they want as long as it's not said with the intention to provoke contention. If someone calls someone the "N" word with the intent to provoke someone to resentment, then the word falls into the category of "fighting words" which is the crime if disorderly conduct.
ReplyDeleteEven if it's said from one person to another in passing and a passerby hears it and is offended....too bad - there was no criminal intent. Too many people are offended by nothing....it's a word. I find it difficult to believe that it keeps coming up. Anyway.
The first amendment was designed to prevent the people from being punished by the govt. for dissenting. You know like when the colonists where placed in prison without due process for openly disagreeing with the king....same principle and nothing to do with the "N" word. The first amendment has been bastardized on so many fronts that anytime someone wants to say anything, they invoke the "free speech" thing.
Black people say it. If African Americans want poeple to stop saying it, they'd better stop themselves. Maybe music is art but that has nothing to do with with it. If I wrote a country song it would still be "art" but if it included the "N" word, I doubt seriously the "art" exemption would apply....I'd be labeled a racist.
What's going on in society now is one facet (african americans)of our society demanding that another facet (white americans) be held to a different standard. If we as a society are trying to achieve true equality, it cannot be done by supporting double standards. Everyone should be held to the same standards by society. Double standards infact perpetuate division and only cause resentment between races.
As far as Websters is concerned...I looked up the word. All it said is that the "N" word is a derrogatory word referring to dark skinned people, most of whom are descendants of people from africa. I don't see a thing wrong with the definition. It IS a derrogatory word. What should the definition be changed to? Should we just remove it from the dictionary altogether and attempt to change history to something a little more politically correct?
I have never owned a slave. I have never treated anyone differently based on race. I will never apologize for slavery. Why should I apologize for something with which I had no part in? By the same token...why should anyone alive today receive an apology for anything that happened 100 years before they were born? This sh*t's getting out of hand.
It's a sensitive area. Yup Eddie Murphy, Richard Pryor and Dave Chapelle use that word all the time. Doesn't mean I should say it, there are a lot of things can call friends, it's just not a good idea to be so loose with those terms.
ReplyDeleteI can tell a friend jokingly "You piece of dog****" Just not a good approach with strangers.
It's no different and I think he's funny, but Carlos Mencia uses "Wetback" and "Beaner" a lot, but if I said it in spanish Harlem I'd be one dumb white boy that better be able to run fast LoL
Is there any truth to the hot rumor flying around that Dog is next in line to become the Chief of SFD once See retires???
ReplyDeleteThe Baltimorons who come here hunting each year are usually good for a few 1. Falling out of a tree stand, and 2. involved in an accidental shooting injuring either themself or another hunter.
ReplyDeleteWho dares disagree with that one?!?
He'd fit right into the FD!
ReplyDeleteJoe why is it (raceism) when a white refers to a black as the "N" word however when a black uses the words like cracker & honkey or white devel it isn't. Is the definition in your book of raceism only one way.twards the white man? Not being smart just trying to understand. respectfully. WAGONMASTER
ReplyDeleteWagonmaster,
ReplyDeleteAre you a Salisbury Fire Fighter?

ReplyDeleteYou always advoid the questions..

ReplyDeleteall those not guilty, please step forward
I agree with wagon master once again. What is racism? Is it only from a white person using the "n" word on a black person or can it also be a black person using the word "cracker" to a white person? Answer the question Joe dont hide from it. Or are you to scared to answer it? sincerly, HELL'S FIRE
ReplyDeleteIt is unbelievable how ignorant this country has become. We all tolerate racism as long as the utterer of racist words is someone who has become a "hero" for what? Chasing criminals who failed to appear in court and therefore owe money to bail bondsmen. And Chapman pursues this criminals TO CLAIM THE BOND. JUST FOR MONEY. NOT FOR JUSTICE AS HE PROCLAIMS. He went to Mexico FOR MONEY. And broke Mexico's laws for MONEY and got away with comitting a crime because he is a "hero". Just the "cowboy" mentality of our country. Therefore, he can say anything and insult anybody and comit any crime as long as we perceive him as a "hero" when all he is is another criminal comitting crimes in the name of "justice" because he wants to collect "money" not because he cares about "justice" or his "perceived religion" which sells "shows". "OH, how he become a hero after being in prison, selling vaccumm cleaners, and "catching" prisoners FOR MONEY. And how he made MORE MONEY because idiots want to watch him chasing mice because he has the "power" given to bail's bondsmen to break into homes without warrants, unlike the laws policemen must follow. The "ballad" of "Dog, the Bounty Hunter", and I would not insult dogs. I love my dogs. He is just a criminal pursuing other criminals FOR MONEY. LET US NOT IDEALIZE HIM. HE IS NOT A HERO. HE IS NOT SPIRITUAL. HE IS JUST INTERESTED IN MAKING MONEY AND HE CAN BO HO AS MUCH AS HE WANTS. HIS APOLOGIES ARE "FOR MONEY" SO THAT A&E WILL REINSTATE HIS CONTRACT. AND HE CAN FIRE HIS SON BECAUSE HE IS DATING A BEAUTIFUL BACK GIRL? YOU DON'T CALL THAT RACISM? AND HATRED? WHAT DO YOU CALL IT THEN? Anonymous
ReplyDeleteI personally think Duane Chapman is a big fat FAKE and I do not watch his show. The man has like a dozen kids by different mothers, most of which he abandoned and then has the nerve to call someone a n*gger? He puts on an act of a Christian man who cares about the people he catches but like the last poster said,he is getting paid BIG bucks to do what he does.I know you have to take what tabloids say with a grain of salt, but he has had ALOT of family members give interviews about his drug use, womanizing and proclivity for underage girls.I hope A&E keeps him off the air-not because he said the "N"word-cuz alot of people do say it-but because he is the fakest thing since silicone implants-everytime I hear him call someone"brah" I wanna hurl LOL
