Soapbox Is None Other Than "Spotted Dog" From The Watch Desk

If you read any of the 5 Posts about the Fire Department earlier today you would have seen comments from the Spotted Dog.

Funny thing is, Barrie Tilghman and Paul Wilber couldn't seem to get to the bottom of this information while the City paid him damn good money to research it.

I can find out just about anyone who likes to hide behind fictitious names on these Blogs and many of these people think what they do is funny and brag about who they are and in the end I come to learn their made up names in no time.

Just like Fire Walker is Lt. Rick Rathel. I could go on and on but I'll leave it at that. Soapbox has enough explaining to do now and I'll let Rachel and Von do whatever they like from here on out with this information. As a matter of fact, if I can help them any further against these a$$holes making racial statements I'll be happy to do so.

Let's see who starts squirming now. You should have been careful what you wished for Soapbox.

  1. I really dont think either one of these men care that you know who they are. They have never tried to hide anything.

So why have you changed your attitude towards the blacks on this council and past? First you cant stand them now you see them as a stepping stone to bring someone down.

Thats all you ever do is use someone to get what you want and when you want it.

    Your a joke!

Again???? What is your feelings on the ALL black miss america? and all the other all black things that the whites cant get into. Try and keep a black out of the regular miss america. Seems to me that the blacks have to chances to become miss america. Is that fair? Lets hear it?

  2. Nice try, Idiot. However, you're not going to put words into my mouth by suggesting I don't like blacks and or past black Council Members.

As a matter of fact, if you were to ask each and every one of them about me, I can assure you they'd speak very highly of me as I have done the same about them. Nevertheless, I don't need to defend myself. You're out of line and completely wrong.

As for the Miss America crap, is it just me or is everyone confused about that topic? Why in the hell would I care who is Miss America? My Miss America sleeps with me every night. I'd like to see all walks of life have every opportunity ot play that roll throughout history. There, you have my answer.

  5. From a long-time Watchdesk poster--The era you have taken these posts from, some 5-6 years ago, was right in the middle of the SFD Station 2 battle. I do not pretend to talk for anyone in the SFD here, but it was apparent, even from the outside looking in, that there was a huge amount of discord in that department back then. I am glad to say that, in my opinion, SFD has successfully moved onward and forward from then.
The Watchdesk was ground zero for much of the fustration of that time. It was very common for people to take similar names of posters (ie- add an underscore or double/eliminate one letter), and make inflammatory posts, just to stir the s**t within the SFD even more. In fact, I personally know of one person, outside the SFD (and for the record, outside the DFD) who later admitted to having some 60 Watchdesk identities. This is where your "Firewalker E16" and many other similar names come from.
Some people on TWD remain anomonous, others do not. It has been no secret to anybody who cared to know who "spoteddog" actually was, some 5+ years ago. He was retired back then too, and I presume it didn't matter to him whether the mayor and others knew who he was or not.
I do not wish get in the middle of your blog war with "Soapbox", but I do have to say that I've been aquainted with Joe Perdue since those early TWD days, and have known him to be an absolutely stand-up honorable person. You and him obviously have public differences of opinions-- which is all well and good-- but to drag up what was meant to be humorous bantering back and forth from years and years ago, and call someone a racist on its sole basis, is definitely reaching, to say the least. That is no different that people calling you a racist for some of the things you have posted on here. I know that is not the case with you, just as I know it is not the case with Joe Perdue. Name calling just gets the discussion off the important issues. For example, who really cares about Miss America anyhow!!
