Salisbury's New City Hall?????
Not long ago I announced that I had inside information in which the Mayor was aggressively trying to purchase the Allfirst Bank on the Downtown Plaza. This was confirmed Saturday when Shanie Shields brought it up and the Mayor not only confirmed it, she publicly thanks John Pick for finding the property owners name out so they could contact them further on the property.
First of all, Idiot, they have a HUGE sign on the building with an 800# on it if you're interested in purchasing the building. Secondly, Dee, Dee, Deeee, these people do pay taxes on this property, so why the big deal about Mr. Pick working so diligently and being able to actually find the owner?
Nevertheless, this woman will stop at NOTHING to blow the City's money! For the record. The owner of this property paid $325,000.00 for the property. I have been trying to purchase this building for about a year now and I made two calls into the owner in which he wanted $750,000.00 for it and now all of a sudden it's up to $1,250,000.00! I WONDER WHY BARRIE? Now don't think I actually care because I too own a piece of property on that PLaza and if they sell it for that kind of money, mine will go up for sale too.
Nevertheless, Mr. Holland stated very quickly, the building is not big enough because City Government keeps growing. He's right. Then I mentioned Station 16. It took a few seconds but all of a sudden Shanie Shields turned her head, nodded up and down saying yes and said, good idea.
I don't know why they're missing it but they should finally do something the Citizens want. Keep the old Fire Station 16, renovate it and even add onto it if they must and move the City Hall there. Nah, Joe Albero suggested it and the stubborn Mayor being the Idiot that she is will never agree that I have good ideas. Hey Barrie, here's another good idea, let's see if you like it. Take a long walk off a short pier.
up 500k eh?
ReplyDeleteLooks like she's determined to get her grubby hands on some of that 5.5 million that was conveniently "found".
Joe:
ReplyDeleteShanie says that she's on to something: the building must be full of money since it still says "allfirst" above the front door.
PS -- I didn't make that up, either!
Rut rohhhh is taking a walk off a short pier akin to being a waste of good sperm?
