City Hires New Public Works Director

Mayor Barrie P. Tilghman is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. James Caldwell as the City’s new Director of Public Works. Mr. Caldwell will replace John Jacobs who resigned in early August. James is from Michigan. GO HERE to read more.

    Ironic? Isn't the Virginia Transportation place, that the new director is leaving, the same place Jacobs got a job?

    All I see is another "foreigner" running the public works dept.

    What's wrong with a "local" that loves this city doing it?
