A Very Interesting Link About TIF's Offered By "Neighborhood Resident"

This artticle is a perfect example as to why you shouldn't allow the City of Salisbury to offer any TIF's to Developers.

    I am totally against TIFs... but to address the Cabela's claim about how many people they will attract...

    Has anyone ever seen the Cabela's NE of Harrisburg on Interstate 80?

    The place is bigger than the ENTIRE Salisbury Mall including the service road. I am talking "Building" here...

    And on any given weekend that place has a football stadium's worth of people moving through the place.

    But I wouldn't give them a TIF. Just a hearty handshake and a welcome to the community.
