The SuperFresh at College Avenue was under lock down mode at 7:00 p.m. last night because they were forewarned a Gang of some 20 thugs were heading that way, so management locked the store down before they arrived.
"There was a long string of baggy-pants, big coated young hoodlum-looking fellows, maybe 20 or so of them, just sort of slinking along from S. Division, past Ace Hardware, then past the bell-ringer for the Salvation Army in front of the Superfresh. They bumped the bell-ringer's pot of cash, but kept moving."
Welcome to the real world of Salisbury, Barrie Tilghman & Chief Webster! People were sitting in their vehicles, (LOCKED) and holding onto their cell phones getting ready to dial 911. This is a fear NO ONE should experience with the taxes you pay in this City! It's time to rid of Dunn, Comegys, Cathcart, Tilghman, Webster and anyone else who gets in the way or making Salisbury a better place to live.
Mike Lewis, where are you?????
Yeah it sucked but what are they gonna do to a bunch of people walking around? They can shake them down, but if they don't have anything on them, what are they gonna do? They cant tell them not to walk around. That what sucks about this sort of element in the city, it is here and it isn't going away anytime soon. Sometimes it really sucks living in a society built on fear. I used to think I had to carry my Glock all the time, then I got away from that for some years, but i don't know anymore. It may be time to get another conceled weapon permit.
ReplyDeleteDamn when did that happen? Back in 83 it was legal. I grew up around guns so they were always in the car, at the home, sometimes at work. Now all I carry is a pocket knife. I thought if you went through the process listed below, getting a CCW was a matter of prcedure if you have kept your nose clean. Check out the requirments.

while that mossberg 500 with the double ought buckshot is a beauty, I still love my Glock. Shes gota light trigger and spits the 9mm fast. My favorite is the old M1911A1 service 45 I got. While she a war horse, there have been some tricks done to her, like the titanium recoild spring that greatly reduces recoil in rapid fire situaitons and greatly improves accuracy. I really like the stopping power of the 45 too. Getting shot by a 9mm will poke a hole in you, point balnk witha 45 is like a cinder block hitting you at 100mph. I dont care who you are, the 45 will stop your ass dead in your tracks.
ReplyDeleteAnd as far as I know, if you check out and fill out the required paperwork, you can carry a conceled weapon.
Yeah, security IS the issue in this country, anywhere you live. And despite 911, the real terror real people feel are from situaitons like a roaming mob through a grocery store parking lot. But its what that mob represents- a threat to your person. Walking around packing isnt always the answer, but if you have a great deal of control about yourself and confidence with a firearm, it is an effective deterent. And that is what needs to happen, the mear thought of harming someone should have real consequences so it will deter people from harming others becasue they are bored or want ever bad ideas they have in mind.
ReplyDeleteI would highly recommend a course in marksmenship or even something like a hunters safety course. You will get hands on experience holding and firing a weapon. A great place to start. Also don't forget there are other very effective deterents out there, mace and stun guns work really well if your walking acorss a parking lot with your hand in purse, said deterent ready to function. Don't ever feel bad about protecting yourself and always walk around with your head on a swivel. Know whats coming your way...alright enough of the lecture-out.
Welcome back socrates!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you people actually eat at McDonalds! That has to be the nastiest food on earth! The meat isn't even meat!
ReplyDeleteNow I'll admit that we bring our Grandson there on occasion but I haven't had a meal at McDonalds since the late 1970's! Their fries were the best, back then.
People, don't forget your digital cameras! If someone treats you poorly, especially at Denny's, take their picture and we'll blog it!!!!
If you think they are treating you bad to your face can you imagine what they are doing to the food behind the counter where you can't see. Let me tell you all, I've been in food safety for 25 years and I wouldn't at at 90% of the places in this town, or any town for that matter. You hire people for minimum wage you get minimum sanitation, minimum care, minimum concern for you or what you are buying. Stay with the family owned places such as Vinnies, Ahmads, or Roscos or some of the others and you generally will be OK. But the rest these places is a good case of Ecoli craps waiting to happen!
ReplyDeleteSRR,
ReplyDeletePlease don't forget Station 7 in your list of places to visit. One thing the Wampler Family have done is pay their Staff top dollar, seriously!
They want to give you the best they have to offer and having a great crew where Todd, (the owner and head Chef) is in the kitchen at all times. You're getting the very best at less than Outback prices.
Like I said, welcome back!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! You people are hilarious! Mike Lewis is too busy telling his new "people" at Mike Elliotts suck up Christmas party last weekend that he owns the bypass and the county. They all went to the Greene Turtle to continue the party (no checkpoints in sight). He could care less about the city although he said he would get rid of gangs in the city. Joe, he purposely did not invite you to the office christmas party last Friday. Guess why?
ReplyDeleteAwe, I'm so hurt. Joe Albero wasn't invited to a party. I was out saving a deer that morning and an Eagle that evening. Sorry I couldn't be there Mike. I was tucking my Grandson in and reading him a book because I have no life.
ReplyDeleteThere's always next year when I hope to become a Deputy just so I can be invited to these events. LMAO
Come on Idiot, do you really think I care who has parties and who is or isn't invited? One thing I can assure you of is, I have a beautiful wife at home and a Grandson we're raising and if I had a choice between going to a party, (in which I don't drink) and hanging at home, I'd choose home in a New York Second!
You only live once "deputy" and in your case you'll never have the peace we have in this household.
As for the digs about the Sheriffs Department, drinking & driving, this is the last comment you'll ever place here on such an attack. Let me assure you, no one is listening to you and or believes you in any way. It's just a childish attack against the people you dislike at the moment and I can only think of one person right now that would go on such an attack because they're so miserable.
