The Salvation Army Works Harder Than Any Of Us!

6 comments:

  1. I know I'm going to get my ass handed to me by some of you bloggers when I say this so before I do let me say Merry Christmas and peace on earth to everyone.
I made the largest lapse in good judgement I've made in many years last night and I let my wife talk me into going christmas shopping.....AT THE MALL. What a mad house, what a bunch of inconsiderate, rude, nasty bunch of people I encountered during my stroll through that place. I try, really I do try to not be racist but last night took me way beyond what is reasonable. That mall was and this is no lie %50 African Americans, of which %90 had their pants hanging below their asses, and %40 percent Hispanic Americans, I hope they were all legals! These people would walk 5 abreast, stagger along, get in the way and just generally act very rude. But the point I'm going to mke here, and it does relate to this blog comment was that there was a Salvation Army bell ringer outside just about every anchor store at the mall and EVERY ONE OF THESE STANDS WAS BEING STAFFED BY A WHITE MAN OR WOMAN. Now to be fair when we got over to Gander Mountain the Salvation Army bucket was manned by a very nice, well dressed, african american woman. So like everything in life %100 rarely applies.
OK go ahead and beat me up, I can take it! Ho HO HO Merry Christmas.

  2. SRR,

I stand right along side of you in support of this comment. However, you just proved to "everyone" that I'm a smarter man than you because you'll never catch me at that Mall! I'll admit I have visited Boscov's or whatever they call that place but I have only been inside the interior of that mall 2 or 3 times in the past 12 years.

My wife can beg me to go to the Mall, (which she's given up) and I refuse to go. So here's how you fix that problem. The last time I was in there and someone bumped into me I simply said, (in front of my wife) YOU GOT A PROBLEM, PUNK? Well they backed down REALLY quick and even started apologizing in front of their friends. However, the wife felt really embarrassed and said she'd never go shopping with me again. I replied, then don't bring me into a war zone.

In Sam's Club you won't see any of those little PUNKS, so you better like presents from Sam's because that's the only place I shop. LMAO!

  3. I should clarify something here. I do not agree 100%. Although I agree with the frustration of shopping at the Mall, I do not agree with the color of the PUNK'S skin. That doesn't matter to me.

  4. I did my stint ringing the bell at the mall last weekend. The people that donated were either white or black, with the exception of one hispanic little boy. My point the Indians, Asians, and every other race just walked by or looked the other way.

  5. The only comment I have here is that MD law EXPLICITLY prohibits solicitors from leaving the median when doing "road" solicitations.

I fully support the Salvation Army-- to the point that you will never see me walk into a Target ever again -- but I wish they wouldn't break the law and endanger themselves and drivers for roadside collections.

  6. Barrie Boop,
I'm just reporting the facts! Do you want me to lie to make your politically correct butt feel better? What about sewerrat's comments???? Give me a break! What did YOU do for charity this year???
