I respectfully disagree with your conclusion (which has now been reposted about a dozen times in different threads).
You are characterizing the voters as either pro-Alessi or anti-Alessi. I think the Republican voters of Wicomico County are more sophisticated - instead voting for the best person for the job. In my mind, that person is BJ Corbin. As a man of high moral character, strongly-held opinions that are his own, significant leadership skills, and a lack of beholding to the land development interests, Corbin is our best hope of injecting sanity into the development of Wicomico County.
So, for me and for (hopefully) thousands of others in Wicomico County, the choice isn't for or against Alessi - it's for BJ Corbin.
