The Declaration of Emergency dealt with severe winter weather (extreme cold temperatures, high winds, icy roadways, accumulation of snow, blowing and drifting snow) which was hazardous to the safe operation of motor vehicles on roadways and threatening to homes and other structures throughout the County.

County Executive Bob Culver continues to urge citizens to use extreme caution when driving.

Report Main Road Conditions In Comments

We're asking viewers to report in with the main road conditions in your area, (Easter Shore). Everyone wants to get an idea when they can or can't get on the roads. Thanks!

A Viewer Writes: Remember the sidewalk patrol will be up your back starting tomorrow!

https://www.pscp.tv/SalisburyPD/1nAKEWdqalyJL

Catch the ridiculous conversation starting at 8:30 about shoveling sidewalks being "inspected" tomorrow afternoon.

Really?

We just had a BLIZZARD dump 12" of snow on us in freezing temperatures with 30+mph winds, that didn't stop until dark today.
Some of us HAVE to work tomorrow and you are going to "inspect" my sidewalk for infractions tomorrow afternoon?

Are you friggin kidding me?

Should I get up at 5 AM when it is 10 degrees out and all of this snow has already FROZEN into ice and try and shovel my walk?

What is wrong with this guy? Is he really that stupid? The snow on my sidewalk is already drifted to knee high.

Jake - the snow isn't going to come off the sidewalk tomorrow. As of now - 6PM Thursday it is already a block of ice. Are you really that stupid not to take the conditions into consideration?

Stay Off The Roads In Salisbury Maryland

Viewers are calling me this morning complaining about the road conditions in Salisbury. Look, I'm all about understanding your frustration but everyone needs to know state wide that this storm was very unusual based on the wind factor. The snow came down hard but the wind made it impossible for everyone plowing because they knew once they cleared the roads the wind drifts would simply blow right back over what they just cleared. This is also why they came up with a state of emergency. The City is no different.

While I can understand the stupidity of Mayor Day demanding and enforcing you to remove your snow on your sidewalks in an unreasonable period of time, I cannot fault  the decision to leave the roads the way they are until the wind slows down.

Just as the title of this post states, stay off the roads. We warned you DAYS in advance, (unlike all other news sources) this storm was coming. You had plenty of time to prepare for a major situation. Those who did not follow us or come to this Site, well, you people just keep depending on local news stations that are now showing these serious problems, (road wise) and acting like they are heroes and they are there for you. What a joke! "Blizzard of 2018, give me a break. Dan said it was going to be a light dusting.

Could Be, Then Again Might Not Be, So, One Never Knows, Does One? UPDATE

They just keep updating their numbers every hour.

Now they're calling it the "Blizzard of 2018"

So you have to ask yourself, how can we call these major storms correctly over the years, yet WBOC always gets it wrong? You can go back into our storm history and clearly see we have always been spot on while WBOC got it completely wrong. This storm is yet another major example. Dan said it would be nothing but a dusting while we were trying to prepare everyone for what we knew would be a major storm.

Nevertheless, how convenient is it to publish, (above) charts like they have done that are more in the moment charts. I LOVE the + sign on them as well. Boy, that sure does cover your A$$, doesn't it!

The Supplement Shop.
October 4, 2017 · Salisbury ·

I Have been trying my best to be patient and positive and think about the long haul for My Business in Downtown Salisbury... with my original lease being signed just 2 weeks before my Road was shut down for "Renovation Construction" , this time LAST YEAR!! That's right the entire 1st year of my business being open this is what I and my customers have had to deal with.....!! After just barely making ends meet week after week... month after month.. and the construction being promised to be completed, only to be set back another month and another month.. i am losing faith and hope! I was told this section would be completed by the end of September.. now I hear the end of November.. which means maybe January...!?!? Unfortunately my hopes of having a cool small business in Downtown Salisbury is looking like one of the biggest mistakes I've ever made and will be costing me for quite a few years... so much Time and hard work.. and Money.. only to see it just fade away! While day after day I stare at this whole outside my windows without a single construction worker.... i haven't seen anyone working in a week.. I am asking for some help sharing this and spreading the word to maybe get some attention to get this process speed up! And also to let others know we are open.. and doing the best we can to keep the doors open and I'm even doing Free shipping for anyone who doesn't want to fight the parking and mess... just call in and place your order and I'll ship right to your door for free! If you're someone who buys supplements online for the convience.. buy from a small local business and have the same convience! Even better i can set you on an automatic monthly renewal for any supps and have them shipped to you automatically every 30 days!! Lastly I may be shortening shop hours just a bit.. to try to save money to keep our doors open.. please be patient with us.. and thank you for understanding! Hopefully we can move forward and grow after this and will be back to opening and operating on a full schedule!! Thank you friends and customers !! Any help in spreading the word or sending customers our way would be greatly appreciated.. and would be saving The Supplement Shop from Leaving downtown Salisbury... or even worse closing down for good....

A Viewer Writes: Wicomico Schools

Hey Joe-

Many Wicomico County Schools opened yesterday with NO heat. Students were told to wear coats and gloves.

He’s Doing It! MAGA Football League Coming to a Stadium Near You – BUH-BYE NFL!

It looks like the NFL is about to get a wake-up call. Vince McMahon has sold $100 million of stock in WWE, the publicly traded company he has run since 1982, apparently for the purpose of relaunching the XFL. I would imagine if that launch is successful, former NFL fans who have had it with the social justice bullcrap will tune into the XFL. It might just be what is needed. No details on the venture will be released until January 25, 2018. It’s not clear if the XFL will directly compete with the NFL, but it would certainly make sense. The XFL played for one season in 2001 and then was put in mothballs, but McMahon thinks a resurrection is in order now.

The NFL’s brand has plummeted since they let players kneel during the National Anthem and conduct protests whenever they felt like it. America is sick of it. For half a century, the NFL ruled sports in America, but no more. And something will have to fill the vacuum. Maybe the XFL is that something. Considering that television ratings for the NFL are severely down, revenues have plummeted and attendance at games is at an all time low, this is the perfect time for a new entity to enter the market.

Many Americans walk around in a cloud, having almost no knowledge of what the Trump Administration has accomplished in its first year because the Mainstream Media has repeatedly failed to deliver real news. Snow Plow Covers Sidewalk In Salisbury

What a joke! I hope you see what your plow did to my sidewalk after it was shoveled Jake Day! And you have the nerve to stick a $250,00 fine on my door! No wonder people are leaving Salisbury.

Kmart In Salisbury To Close Their Doors In April 2018

Sears Holdings continues its strategic assessment of the productivity of our Kmart and Sears store base and will continue to right size our store footprint in number and size. In the process, as previously announced we will continue to close some unprofitable stores as we transform our business model so that our physical store footprint and our digital capabilities match the needs and preferences of our members. The company on Thursday, January 4 informed associates at 64 Kmart stores and 39 Sears stores that we will be closing these stores between early March and early April 2018.

Eligible associates impacted by these store closures will receive severance and will have the opportunity to apply for open positions at area Kmart or Sears stores. Customers can use the store locator function on our web sites to find the location of their nearest Kmart and Sears stores. Liquidation sales will begin as early as January 12 at these closing stores. Following is a complete list of the impacted stores.

Mayor Jake Day Fails To Tell City Employees They Are Closed For The Day

So the City of Salisbury posted the closing on Facebook but didn't have the decency to email or contact their city employees.

The State of Maryland waited until 6 am to announce that the state agencies on the lower shore were closed.

Not everyone is 20 years old Jake and certainly you can't expect employees to go to Facebook. What an Idiot.

WBOC Is Changing Their Forecast Every 10 Minutes, Seriously

 5:00 PM
5:10 PM

Yesterday they claimed we might see a dusting but that's about the extent of it. WE had already stated we could be looking at a very serious storm. Now WBOC is finally getting on board with the above forecast stating, (according to their broadcast today) we will be getting a lot more then a dusting.

HOWEVER, leave it to "Dan said it was going to be like this" stated he wasn't sure if ANY of this was going to happen. Well, WBOC flat out stated they were going to a new model that was the best the world had ever seen, including 3-D images. That was over a year ago where they ran that very special segment, yet no one has ever seen it.

Finally, while they claim to be using different models to predict the weather, WHY are they so different? Shouldn't they be using the only model that gets it right each time, or do they use these to cover their rear ends. Nevertheless, we're stating we are looking at a very serious storm at the beach. This is very unusual/rare because of the warmer water temperatures in the ocean. We simply want you prepared and we are NOT going to suggest we are wrong, nor are we going to claim this could be a light dusting.

A Tale of Two Tweets

President Trump has been very active over the last two days on Twitter. Here are two tweets that answers one question while the second inspires much thought for Liberals who now enjoy a better economy.

The President addresses why he uses Twitter to get his message out instead of traditional media:

His question to America regarding the upcoming midterm elections:

A "Monster Of A Storm" Could Hit The East Coast Next Week

“The potential for a strong coastal storm system is increasing next week as multiple pieces of energy come together. However, where this system tracks remains highly uncertain and will ultimately determine sensible weather impacts along the East Coast. Subtle changes to the forecast may be the difference between a snowstorm or more Arctic cold and little or no snowfall,” said Ed Vallee, a meteorologist who specializes in Northeast weather.

As the New Year’s festivities begin, the increasing threat of a major East Coast snowstorm is possible for the second half of the upcoming week. Recent Weather Channel computer models are in agreement that a surface low-pressure system will develop off the Southeast coast Wednesday, then charge up the coast towards the north-northeast over the western Atlantic Ocean Thursday. According to the report, “this low will also intensify at a rapid pace thanks to a sharpening southward plunge of the jet stream into the eastern U.S.”

With the cold air in place over the East Coast, the Weather Channel provides two scenarios of what could happen next week:

A track closer to the East Coast would increase the odds of more widespread and heavier snow.
A track farther offshore would diminish the chance of snow for the East Coast.

Just In From.....US National Weather Service Wakefield VA

Confidence is increasing that an offshore low will bring accumulating snow to eastern VA, northeast NC and the lower MD Eastern Shore late Wednesday into Thursday morning. Snow may mix with or change to rain for a time from VA Beach southward into coastal northeast NC, but no ice is expected. Snow accumulations at this time are expected to be 2-4" along the coast with locally higher amounts. Be sure to check back with us on Tuesday for the latest forecast information.

Publishers Notes: While some nay sayers have been coming on here challenging me, saying I am not a meteorologist and that NO OTHER news sources have provided what we have been claiming, (earlier today) don't you people now feel pretty bad about challenging me when the evidence keeps growing we are more right then wrong. It's even sadder that the so called professionals haven't caught up to what may be coming. Joe said it was going to be like this, LOL.

To Everyone Sending Me Multiple Messages K-Mart Is Closing...

With all due respect, I'm sorry but I don't find this as breaking news. I have had an article scheduled for a good part of today for 8:30 AM tomorrow morning. K-Mart was a dump when it opened and it's still a dump today. OK, maybe it's worse now but Lord only knows how and why they've remained open over the last 10+ years anyway. We'll see you at 8:30 am tomorrow where everyone can shed a tear.

Baltimore Residents Want More Police

As Baltimore grapples with its highest per capita record for homicides, some resident blame a lack of police presence in their neighborhoods as a reason for the city’s gun violence problem.

One Baltimore, Md., pastor argued that more police need to patrol the city’s neighborhoods in order to better protect the locals, according to an interview with NPR published Sunday.

“We wanted the police there,” Rev. Kinji Scott told NPR. “We wanted them engaged in the community. We didn’t want them beating the hell out of us, we didn’t want that. We need the front line police officers and we need the heart of the black community to step to the forefront of this discussion. And that’s when we’re going to see a decrease in crime.”

Entitled Dem Sheila Jackson Lee: “I’m a queen and I demand to be treated like a queen!”

Affirmative action hire Sheila Jackson Lee demands to be treated like a queen. I think we should acquiesce to her demands and treat her like the queen…of stupid.

Earlier this week, Sheila Jackson Lee was caught on a United Airlines flight where a lesser peon was bumped out of first class so the distinguished lady from Texas could take the seat. The Texas representative has a long history of outbursts and arrogance, pulling stunts like making her staff driver her a single block to her destination. She uses her position of power and her black woman status to get away with just about anything.

She’s also been accused of calling her employees, “you stupid motherf***er,” while referring to herself as a queen. “You don’t understand. I am a queen, and I demand to be treated like a queen,” she was quoted saying in 1998. This is a moon bat who needs to be thrown out of Congress yesterday.
