5:16 AM - Nottingham Woods was the best in the 80's. Had one ball player go pro come out of that neighborhood. Always playing baseball, wiffleball, tennis, skateboarding in the streets. Great neighborhood.
Kids still in Salisbury streets only its basketballs bounced and throwed around. Also they ride skateboards down the center of the streets. Children in streets is as old yes as old as us seniors are.
Jamie Hammond drafted 1998 Expos, holds 4th best batting record at WVA. I remember he would be outside playing baseball even when it got dark out and all the rest of us went home.

ReplyDeleteI did this in the 90's as a kid. We did it in "the circle" which is the cul-de-sac in the neighborhood next to ours.
