Men's lacrosse wins 12th national title in program history with win 5-28-17

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The Salisbury University men's lacrosse team played Rochester Institute of Technology in the 2017 NCAA men's lacrosse national championship game and won the program's 12 national title with a 15-7 win over the Tigers at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts.

It is Salisbury's second title in as many years and moves the Gulls all-time record at Gillette Stadium to 3-0 with all three wins coming in the title game.

Salisbury was led on the offensive end by Kevin McDermott and Carson Kalama. McDermott posted a career high in points with four from one goal and three assists and Kalama made his presence felt by posting four goals and one assist for four points. Also coming up big on the offensive end was Josh Melton as the freshman posted his frist-career hat trick. Colin Reymann made 12 stops in cage and in front of him Cory Berry posted three caused turnovers.

I just love all these ignorant English major's that correct everyone. Please leave people alone. Some are not as intelligent as you. But we can understand the message without body slamming good people. I can only pray to be as sharp as you. I am a minion, while you are my superior. Even if you are a smart a-s.
Back on topic, congrats SU lacrosse.

Please Name 5 professional lacrosse players that received multi million dollar contracts??? This is a CHILDS game. Take extra course on speaking Spanish instead.

7:43, it's NINE words!

To, There, & Your. Each have 3 spellings for completely different meanings.

Let's add "no" and make it eleven!

That's not really a whole lot of words to learn in a lifetime of learning, especially for those who have learned how to feed and house themselves and have enough left over to buy computers and opine over the internet.

Eleven words. How is this an impossibility for so many people? If you can't figure out eleven simple ONE SYLLABLE words, please just sit and watch TV. And close your mouth, you're drooling again!

That's life in general but at least these boys can look back at this experience when they are old and feel good about it.

1004 Improper spacing-wrong punctuation-capitalizing entire words-run on sentence-just a beginning to your mess..please stop it is embarrassing.

Seriously? it's time for this program to move up a division and play some real competition.
This is no longer something to be proud of, as a SSU alumni, I find it a disgrace now.
This program need to Go play some real lacrosse teams. Quit beating up the jr. high kids.
let SSU go play Maryland or Navy and see how it how good they really are.
This is a joke.........

Lacrosse helped some of these players with scholarships for school. Bet you can't keep up with these players, playing this "Child's Game".

sons of Deni were on the attack
Goal after goal, the wind at their backs
A solid lead lost, another shot in,
smashed the net just off the brim
For the Champion Gulls, defeat loomed near
But alas, on the field, what should appear?
A solitary bird, a seagull, of all things,
and a roar from the crowd is what it brings
With divine intervention solidly in place
Down goes RIT at an astonishing pace!
Congrats SU Gulls!

No one is being "ignorant". Wasnit so hard to pay attention in class and to have pride in using proper grammar, punctuation, tense and word choice? Have some pride in what you put out to the public!!! Typical new generation, give a pass on everything until the country falls apart.
