A Viewer Writes: The new walk along the river

I have a concern they have a new walk along the river ,with no railing or anything to keep someone from falling into the river ,With the Salisbury Fair coming up this weekend ,I am concern that someone will be in the river, teens pushing each other or someone drinking a little to much it worries me.

lawsuit time. Have to have some type of secure barrier to prevent this.

I noticed that last night as well as the bums hanging out under the bridges.

but getting shot, raped or robbed does worry you at all? Let's form a committee, get a study done and then hire a company owned by someone's relative to build a $2,000 safety railing/fence for $50,000. We could put a fence all along the banks of the river in the park too.

Been to Baltimore's harbor? No rails. It's called personal responsibility.

Was thinking the same thing, as we walked around last night. Plus no life rings anyplace around.

I noticed it about a month ago. Also the fake boardwalk is covered with goose poop causing it to be slippery. I have stopped walking there because of the unsafe and nasty conditions.

Oh my! I need the government to keep me safe.

And yet to obtain federally subsidized mortgage you have to have a hand rail on the two steps into your private home.

5:25 PM what a troll. I wonder if that will be your response when a child accidentally falls in.

Yes. Mind your children.

It appears you all think Waldo might have a problem maneuvering around riverwalk - just tell waldo to stay on the sidewalk and he'll be okay
