I've read that it is a secondary microphone and that both candidates wore one just in case their primary microphone quit. Now according to the Donald he said something about his mic wigging out (my words) so that begs to question if this really was a secondary mic after all.
Sure as heck isn't a tracking device installed by FBI or DOJ. Can't wait to see her wear a ankle bracelet though.
