as big a scam as the home buying scandal of several years ago.. student loans have made it easy for people to attend college. most are not college material.. the colleges reap the benefits, the students will drown in debt...
as if the $18TRILLION debt the ruling class elites have saddled our children & grandchildren with is not enough
At least he was able to pay them off! Many, many will never get paid.
The government made money available to anybody with no underwriting. It is an ugly situation.

College Loans and tuition are both income transfers to mainly Socialists. Institutions should be required to spend a portion of their endowments to qualify to even dispense them...They want Socialism set a pay scale for all of them instead of putting miscreants like Janet Napolitano into cushy positions making over a Million a year
I seem to remember a comment from Iowahawk (Twitter) that the cure for student loans would be to have the college co-sign the loan.
this is how many colleges, SSU, are able to grow so lavishly.. more students, with plenty of money. bogus degrees costing thousands of dollars.. you will graduate, never find work in your field, and spend forever repaying loanshark money. its just daycare for young adults, not ready to make it in this world..
