I don't know why this would surprise anyone. GO-Getters is just another have for illegals to get hired for the day. They sign up for the free cell phone and register as a democrat at the same time. Forgetting that illegals can't vote...OOOOOpppss Sure they can. as well as the dead can and have.....

ReplyDeleteAlthough i was not born here i consider myself a local. I graduated high school. Due to lack of money could not afford college. Walmart paid more than most. Have worked there twenty plus years. It pays my bills, have never had help from the government or anyone else. What's your F'n problem.

NOthing? compared to what, who? You? I don't work at one but since Walmart is the largest employer in this country, I'd say yeah, pretty much a career.
What do you do for a living?
Do you have any hard data for these accusations or are you just mad because a local stole your girlfriend?

ReplyDeleteI'm not an earlier poster but he/she is correct. I grew up on the shore, went away to college and grad school. After making a nice living elsewhere, returned and bought several properties. Between the local mentality and the liberal MD government, I confirmed my earlier decision to leave. Headed south, took my business, money, taxes and guns southward. The shore was once a great place to live but not any more. Salisbury is a ghetto, Wicomico county is a joke and the state is thief of income from those that make money. If you stay, you can only blame yourself.
ReplyDeleteI am the earlier poster and moved here many years ago thinking it was a great place to live and raise a family and after nearly ten years realized I was very wrong. I chose yo leave Delmarva for good. I to moved south much more money doing the same job, low crime, good schools, and when you locals cry about heating costs and the cold my family and I can send you postcards from the beach. The eastern shore isn't anything it once was and it's not getting better.
ReplyDeleteIssues people, issues. Go-Getters (the Main Street address) is their main building. Anon 7:59 must work there to know all their "housing" addresses. There is a handy dandy stop light at the intersection so it is quite easy to read sign(s) posted. The point of the post, I believe, is that the vulnerable people who use their services are being recruited for political gain. More free phones for people who are (understandably) ill informed. Seems wrong on multiple levels.

countrygirl, there's more to it than that. The liberals know this go around in the next Presidential election they'll have to do more to recruit. Giving away free Obama Phones is yet another gift from Santa. Think about it. Will the next Presidential candidate continue this FREE program, or will one of them say the FREE gifts are over? The liberals are bribing Americans and far too many Americans are too stupid to see just how bad things really are. FREE food, FREE rent, FREE phones, the list goes on and on.
ReplyDeleteThe poor people taking the phones don't realize they are "selling their souls to the devil". A little research will reveal that the chips in the phones allow the govt to track it anywhere and listen to all conversations, even when it is turned off. Next thing to having a communications spy chip placed under your skin. That will be the next step in Obamacare.

The free phone service program was started by President Reagan. It switched from free landline service in rural areas to cell phones because that's what people use now.
