Dying Won't Get You Out Of Your Dish Network Contract

Dish Network has extremely loyal to Elizabeth Cordry of Forth Worth, Texas. So loyal that they would let nothing remove her from the ranks of their customers. Including her death. When she died in January at age 85, her son tried to end service, but the company insisted that she had a contract that could only be canceled if her family produced a death certificate. Since she was no longer under a contract, her son refused to produce the certificate.

  2. Dish sucks to deal with and bad service when it rains and they charge you to fix any issue.

  5. Sounds like Waste Management. Same kind of operation. Once you sign a contract with them its for ever.

  6. Every time it's overcast the picture degrades and there's nothing the can ever do to fix that . Plus they always send out some yahoo to fix a problem they never fix and of course you still get charged .

  7. I went through the exact same thing when my father passed away. I even gave them a death certificate. I am still getting bills for service that was canx! When you call to try to get it fixed you only create more problems. I will never do business with them!

  8. if your having issues with storms ect call dish and ask them to switch you to eastern arc, it may require an equipment upgrade as its all mpeg4.

    i very seldom lose pic due to weather, only the occasional thunderstorm, then for usually @ 5-10 minutes

  10. I have mpeg4 are you a salesman or something there is nothing that can be done when there is atmospheric disturbances you picture will pixelate .

  12. not a salesmen, just an informed user that has never had in issue in 6+ years, btw im still on western arc, dont feel like upgrading yet

    head over to stellire guys and get all the dish/direct info you need
