Stocks Fall After Mixed Economic Data

Investors eye disappointing homebuilding data

NEW YORK
- A report on housing starts made investors nervous that the economy will be slower to recover even as companies post profits that exceed expectations.

Stocks fell Tuesday after the Commerce Department said home building rose less than expected in September, a discouraging signal for future construction activity.

Bond prices jumped after the Labor Department said lower energy prices pushed U.S. wholesale prices lower in September, leaving a larger-than-expected monthly drop in the producer price index. Wall Street economists expected a flat reading. The drop follows a steep rise in August.

Pope Makes It Easier For Anglicans To Convert

Catholic church eyes Anglicans who may feel their church is too liberal

VATICAN CITY - Pope Benedict on Tuesday took a major step to make it easier for disaffected Anglicans who feel their church has become too liberal to convert to Roman Catholicism.

The move comes after years of discontent in some sectors of the 77-million-strong worldwide Anglican community over the ordination of women priests and homosexual bishops.

While both sides stressed the step would not affect dialogue between the two churches, it was clear it was taken because of the growing number of Anglicans who want to leave their Church.

Presidential Mororcade Shuts Down South Bound New Jersey Turnpike

While returning back home yesterday, four of my immediate family members were driving different vehicles from the Bronx down the New Jersey Turnpike. After we passed the Newark Airport we decided to make a pit stop at one of the rest areas. When we came out to get back into our vehicles to continue down the Turnpike, no one was allowed to re enter to roadway. One State Trooper said that President Obama was coming through and another one said it was Vice President.

The first thing I did was to grab my camera and head over to the roadway to snap some pictures. However, Secret Service in the SUV in the first picture hit reverse and started flying back towards me and demanded I get back into my car or I'd be arrested. A second Officer, (a State Trooper) also came by and stated to everyone to get back into your vehicles.

Well, you know me, I'm very hard of hearing and I was able to snap off the above pictures. I called a friend of mine with ABC to inform them of what was going on and they couldn't believe it, nor could I. However, the pictures do not lie.

The biggest thing that concerned me was, why the Ambulance. Did something happen to one of the two and the World didn't know about it?

Over the next few hours on the road, I stayed in contact with my friend from ABC and no one could confirm this ever happened. As soon as I got home I forwarded these pictures over to them and I have yet to hear back from anyone as to what the heck was going on. This created a HUGE traffic jam throughout the rest of our trip back.

Why didn't they use a Helicopter, like the ones above hovering over the motorcade. If it was a drill, talk about a HUGE waste of money! Something was going on and no one knows about it. Well, now they do. Always in the right place at the right time, eh!

WHITE HOUSE OUT TO DESTROY FREE SPEECH

Previous administrations have frozen out individual reporters or a single news organization. Never before has an administration attempted to intimidate all news outlets into only reporting the news they like. This is the most blatant attempt to circumvent the first amendment, guarantee of freedom of speech or of the press. Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod have warned other media outlets to not pick up stories from Fox News.

This came after the White House director of communications revealed how they were controlling the message. (Shown in a video, only on Fox) Fox exposed Obama supporter, ACORN, which caused congress to vote to cut off funds. Fox also exposed, the radical Van Jones, Obama's Green Jobs Czar, causing his resignation. Fox also has the audacity to question the credibility of other Obama appointees.(all with video evidence) This administration is allergic to the truth and is bent on guaranteeing the truth. While you might not agree with Fox presentations or even their politics the Constitution must have meaning and it must not be ignored.

In the past the other news organizations would have howled in outrage. Why not now? There are two explanations. More people are now switching to Fox to get their news. The other, more devious reason is, they are hoping this administration will act to control the internet, thus eliminating that source of news. Even the most ardent Obama supporter should be questioning the wisdom of allowing the destruction of the first amendment to the United States Constitution. Particularly when so many controversial pieces of legislation are being considered that could impact the lives of every American, this can not be allowed to happen.

Perks Keep Rolling At Rescued Banks

From jets to country club fees, CEOs’ fringe benefits rose 4 percent last year

NEW YORK
- Even as the nation's biggest financial firms were struggling and the federal government was spending hundreds of billions of dollars to save many of them, the companies as a group were boosting the perks and benefits they pay their chief executives.

The firms, accounting for more $350 billion in federal bailout funds, increased these perks and benefits 4 percent on average last year, according to an analysis of corporate disclosures filed in recent months.

Some chief executives, such as Kenneth D. Lewis of Bank of America and Jeffrey M. Peek of CIT Group, the major small-business lender now on the brink of bankruptcy, each received about $100,000 more than a year earlier for personal use of corporate jets. Others saw an increase in the value of chauffeured services, parking or personal security.

Foreclosures Explained!

Foreclosures Explained

There are a lot of alarming statistics out there about foreclosures. But when you understand what a foreclosure is and how it works, it takes some of the fear out of the unknown.

To break it down to its bare bones, a mortgage foreclosure happens when a lender exercises its lien against a borrower's home in order to sell the house to pay off the mortgage loan. This, of course, only happens after the borrower has failed to make mortgage payments for an extended period of time, has ignored notices that the payments are behind, hasn't bothered to call the lender to see what can be worked out. So how did we get from popping the champagne cork on closing day to having our belongings set out on the lawn? It didn't happen overnight:

Step 1 - Notice of default is recorded by the bank
This happens after you've missed a payment. Usually, especially in the old days, it happened after several payments were missed. Banks are tightening the reins, however, trying to move homeowners to action long before the point of no return. So you've missed one or several payments, and now the bank officially records the notice of default.

Step 2 - Opportunity to reinstate the loan
This sounds pretty hopeful, doesn't it? You can reinstate your loan! You have the power to stop the foreclosure process anywhere along the way-until five days prior to the auction of your home.but we're getting ahead of ourselves. How do you reinstate the loan? Bring your loan payments current plus the late fees and whatever penalties are assessed, and you have just reinstated your loan. You've stopped the foreclosure. You won't lose your house.

Step 3 - Date of foreclosure is set by the bank
But what if you can't beg or borrow the back payments and other fees? Is all hope lost? Not quite. We've come to the third step of the foreclosure process: the bank sets a date of foreclosure. Typically, the date is three months (about 90 days) after the bank sets the notice of default. You are allowed to live in the house until the actual date of foreclosure. You cannot be evicted or thrown out of the house until this date. You still have time to come up with that money.

Step 4 - Notice of trustee sale is prepared, published and posted
Now the bank prepares the notice of trustee sale. The bank will publish it (you've seen those notices in your local newspaper). The bank then mails you a copy of the notice and physically posts it on the outside of the house. You still have time to bring the payments current.

Step 5 - The house is sold at a foreclosure auction
We've come to the final step: the foreclosure auction sale. If you are still living in the house and it is sold to a bidder at the auction, the winning bidder can have you evicted by the sheriff within 24 hours. If the house doesn't sell, the bank will show the house just like you would if you were selling the house yourself. The bank may also have you evicted within 24 hours, or the bank may decide to let you stay until the house sells.

Bottom line: if you miss a payment, don't let it turn into two. Find the money, even if you have to borrow from family or friends. Although the process can be stopped anytime up to five days before the sale, the earlier you intervene, the easier it is to stop.

Your Mortgage Has Been Sold:
Now What?
If you receive a letter from XYZ Mortgage telling you they've bought your loan and you should now send payments to them, don't do it unless you receive a coinciding letter from your current lender. This type of mortgage scam goes on all the time, and many homeowners don't even think twice before sending off a check.

Congress took note of these scams, and in 1990 moved to regulate the assignment, transfer or sale of mortgage loans. As part of the National Affordable Housing Act, certain provisions were added to the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA):

1. The lender must disclose to the borrower its policy on assigning or selling loans at the time a borrower applies for a mortgage loan. HUD has written a model disclosure statement that all federally related mortgage lenders must use.

2. If a lender assigns, sells or transfers your loan , both your current lender and the mortgage buyer must make certain disclosures, including the name, address and telephone number of the transferee, as well as the effective date of the transfer.

3. Each disclosure statement must declare that the transfer does not affect any term of the mortgage other than who's servicing the loan.

4. A 60-day grace period ensures that borrowers can't be penalized if they mistakenly send payments to the old lender. Even if you send your payment to your old mortgage company during this time, and they have to reroute your check, you cannot incur any penalties during this time, neither late fees nor black marks on your credit report.

Selling mortgages is becoming more common all the time. It's called the secondary mortgage market. Organizations such as the FannieMae and FreddieMac purchase large packages of loans from lenders at a discount, providing the individual lender more cash available to generate new mortgage loans. Lenders depend on available cash to do business.

While having your mortgage sold over and over again can be inconvenient and annoying, the bottom line is that it's good for everyone. Why? As more lenders enter the marketplace by issuing conventional mortgages, the result is more competition, which helps keep interest rates competitive from lender to lender because consumers have more choices. For more information, write to the Mortgage Bankers Association of America and request their free booklet, "When Your Loan is Transferred to Another Lender," at 1125 Fifteenth St., NW., Washington, DC 20005.

Feds To 60 Million American Anglers: We Don’t Need You

(Oct. 14, 2009 - Irvine, CA.)... A recently published administration document outlines a structure that could result in closures of sport fishing in salt and freshwater areas across America. The White House created an Interagency Oceans Policy Task Force in June and gave them only 90 days to develop a comprehensive federal policy for all U.S. coastal, ocean and Great Lakes waters. Under the guise of ’protecting’ these areas, the current second phase of the Task Force direction is to develop zoning which may permanently close vast areas of fishing waters nationwide. This is to be completed by December 9, 2009.

Dave Pfeiffer, President of Shimano American Corporation explained, "In spite of extensive submissions from the recreational fishing community to the Task Force in person and in writing, they failed to include any mention of the over one million jobs or the 6o million anglers which may be affected by the new policies coast to coast. Input from the environmental groups who want to put us off the water was adopted into the report verbatim - the key points we submitted as an industry were ignored."

Recreational fishing generates a $125 billion annual economy in the United States and supports jobs in every state according to government figures. Through the Sport Fish Restoration program, anglers have provided more than $5 billion through excise taxes on fishing tackle to fishery conservation and education for decades.

In addition to the economic aspects, anglers lead the nation in volunteer conservation efforts on behalf of improving fish habitat, water quality and related environmental areas. "There was no mention of the fishery conservation efforts which anglers have led for over 50 years in every state - an environmental success story that has no equal in the world", said Phil Morlock, Director, Environmental Affairs for Shimano. "The Task Force did not make any distinction between the dramatic differences between harmful commercial fishing harvest methods and recreational fishing, even though we spelled it out for them in detail,"added Morlock.

Claiming to be the result of a public consultation process the report states, "Having considered a broad range of public comments, this report reflects the requests and concerns of all interested parties."

U.S. Sponsors Plan To Restrict Free Speech

Joins Egyptians in proposal to United Nations Human Rights Council

A proposal sponsored by the Obama administration at the United Nations that purports to seek protection for "freedom of opinion and expression" actually is a call for a worldwide crackdown on freedom of speech and a mandate for nations to ensure "that relevant national legislation complies with … international human rights obligations" – a clear threat to the First Amendment, according to critics.

The resolution was submitted recently by the United States and Egypt. It was approved by the U.N. Human Rights Council as a first step in its process through the international organization.
It demands that all nations condemn and criminalize "any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence."

Steven Groves of the Heritage Foundation told WND the issue is not about free speech at all but about installing international precedents to stifle any criticism of Islam.

Find out how Obama is planning to throttle free speech for America's talk show hosts. Get Brad O'Leary's 'Shut Up, America!' for $4.95 today only, save $21!

WND has reported on "anti-defamation" plans at the U.N., including when a proposal was made that would have made such speech restrictions mandatory on member states.

GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY TO ADDRESS MARYLAND’S SUPERINTENDENTS IN ANNAPOLIS TODAY

GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY TO ADDRESS MARYLAND’S SUPERINTENDENTS IN ANNAPOLIS TODAY

ANNAPOLIS, MD – Governor Martin O’Malley will address the state of Maryland’s public schools and the importance of maintaining historic investments in education today when he delivers remarks before all 24 Maryland public school superintendents.

“We are very fortunate in Maryland to have such a talented, committed group of superintendents, who aren’t content with simply running in place and defending our number one ranking in America for our public schools,” said Governor O’Malley. “They want, as do all of us, to be competitive globally and we can do that by protecting those priorities we share even when it is difficult to do so.”

Education Week Magazine ranked Maryland’s public schools number one in the nation. In the past three years, the O’Malley-Brown Administration has fully funded the Thornton Bridge to Excellence Plan – the first administration to do so – and invested $1 billion over a three-year period in school construction, a first in Maryland’s history. In an effort to build upon the system’s number one national ranking, the O’Malley-Brown Administration has set ambitious goals including increasing college and career readiness 25 percent by 2010, improving student achievement 25 percent by 2015, and increasing the number of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math college graduates 40 percent by 2015.

A Philadelphia Man Is Sentenced To 35 Years For Attempted Murder

A Philadelphia man is sentenced to 35 years for attempted murder with a handgun in Salisbury.

Friday, October 16th, 38-year-old Larry McArthur was sentenced to 25 years for Attempted 2nd Degree Murder plus 10 years for the Use of a Handgun in a Crime of Violence, for his July 1, 2009 convictions.

Deputy State’s Attorney Sam Vincent says back on July 9, 2007, on South Saratoga Street, Gary Johnson was visiting his girlfriend when he noticed the kitchen window was being broken. Johnson then walked outside, that’s when he saw McArthur with a handgun. He turned to run and was shot at 4 times, two of them hitting Johnson in the back. After crawling to a neighbor’s home for help, McArthur made it to the hospital. McArthur has since recovered from his gunshot wounds, despite the two bullets permanently lodged in his back.

Vincent says there was a money dispute between Johnson’s girlfriend and McArthur’s niece. Vincent says a few minutes prior to the shooting, the niece called and threatened Johnson’s girlfriend saying she would “shoot up” the house.

McArthur will not be eligible for parole until he serves 30 years of his sentence. This is a result of his two prior crimes of violence convictions in Philadelphia.

HOW CAN THE PUBLIC COMMENT ON POLLITT’S BUDGET CUTS PLAN?

Rick (“Mr. Transparency”) Pollitt has reached a new, higher level. Today he will ask the County Council to approve a budget amendment, but refuses to put it before the citizens for comment until then. We won’t know what he wants until after the fact. This is from today’s Daily Times:

“On Tuesday, Pollitt is expected to introduce a budget amendment to address the $6.3 million imbalance between revenues and expenses. At the last council meeting, he pulled the bill off the agenda days before the meeting. "It's on there right now," County spokesman Jim Fineran said late Friday.

Fineran said he could not share any details of the budget amendment.”

Let’s hope than it won’t be necessary to go after any more of those twenty dollar pens.

AMERICA UNDER SIEGE

"MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL" -------------"MONEY IS THE MOTHERS MILK OF POLITICS"

Two sayings that are linked together to the detriment of our country. I am NOT attacking capitalism, I am attacking a political system that is for sale to the highest bidder. Campaign contributions are only one concern. Money flows to our elected officials through speaking fees, Jobs for relatives, political action committees, insider deals, cash in an envelope, campaign workers or any other way money or things of value can be transferred.

The money is not just from domestic sources, but a great deal comes legally and illegally from foreign sources. Most of it is hard to prove, particularly when the recipient is making the laws and overseeing law enforcement. The money is distributed to both political parties, often from the same source covering their bets. It would follow that most, if not all, government agencies have been infiltrated by people on the payroll of companies, organizations or even governments with an agenda. During Watergate, Deep Throat advised, "Follow the Money." That holds true, more than ever, today.

An interesting example, that should be of great concern is, Saudi Prince Alalwed Bin-Talal. The Prince is the richest Saudi and 16th richest in the world. He funds Muslim-Christian Understanding centers at major American universities, including Harvard,. He is the largest investor in Citigroup. The concern comes from his senior advisor, Kahlid Al Monsour. He was the mentor to Black Panther Party founder Huey Newton and his cohort, Bobby Seale. Al Monsour aided in getting Obama admitted to the Harvard Law School. There is some question as to who paid Obama's tuition. There are lots of questions for which there have been no answers.

Where is taxpayer money being funneled? Jeff Jones, former member of (SDS) Students for a Democratic Society and leader of the Weather Underground is now part of the Apollo Group. According to Senator Harry Reid, the Apollo group wrote the Obama stimulus bill. What is that all about? I would think even the strongest Obama supporter would be concerned when a private group is involved in the distribution of $787 billion dollars of taxpayer money.

'Magic Negro'

Remember how people gave Rush Limbaugh a lot of guff because he called Obama a
"magic negro?" It turns out he was referencing this opinion piece (NOT a news article) from the Los Angeles Times, which first ran in 2007 about then-Senator BHO. I'm sure you'll find it an interesting read.

Obama the 'Magic Negro'
The Illinois senator lends himself to white America's idealized, less-than-real
black man.

By David Ehrenstein
March 19, 2007

AS EVERY CARBON-BASED life form on this planet surely knows, Barack Obama, the junior Democratic senator from Illinois, is running for president. Since making his announcement, there has been no end of commentary about him in all quarters - musing over his charisma and the prospect he offers of being the first African American to be elected to the White House.

But it's clear that Obama also is running for an equally important unelected office, in the province of the popular imagination - the "Magic Negro."

The Magic Negro is a figure of postmodern folk culture, coined by snarky 20th century sociologists, to explain a cultural figure who emerged in the wake of Brown vs. Board of Education. "He has no past, he simply appears one day to help the white protagonist," reads the description on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_Negro
.

He's there to assuage white "guilt" (i.e., the minimal discomfort they feel) over the role of slavery and racial segregation in American history, while replacing stereotypes of a dangerous, highly sexualized black man with a benign figure for whom interracial sexual congress holds no interest.

As might be expected, this figure is chiefly cinematic - embodied by such noted performers as Sidney Poitier, Morgan Freeman, Scatman Crothers, Michael Clarke Duncan, Will Smith and, most recently, Don Cheadle. And that's not to mention a certain basketball player whose very nickname is "Magic."

Poitier really poured on the "magic" in "Lilies of the Field" (for which he won a best actor Oscar) and "To Sir, With Love" (which, along with "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," made him a No. 1 box-office attraction). In these films, Poitier triumphs through yeoman service to his white benefactors. "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" is particularly striking in this regard, as it posits
miscegenation without evoking sex. (Talk about magic!)

The same can't quite be said of Freeman in "Driving Miss Daisy," "Seven" and the seemingly endless series of films in which he plays ersatz paterfamilias to a white woman bedeviled by a serial killer. But at least he survives, unlike Crothers in "The Shining," in which psychic premonitions inspire him to rescue a white family he barely knows and get killed for his trouble. This heart-tug trope is parodied in Gus Van Sant's "Elephant." The film's sole black student at
a Columbine-like high school arrives in the midst of a slaughter, helps a girl escape and is immediately gunned down. See what helping the white man gets you?

And what does the white man get out of the bargain? That's a question asked by John Guare in "Six Degrees of Separation," his brilliant retelling of the true saga of David Hampton - a young, personable gay con man who in the 1980s passed himself off as the son of none other than the real Sidney Poitier. Though he started small, using the ruse to get into Studio 54, Hampton discovered that countless gullible, well-heeled New Yorkers, vulnerable to the Magic Negro myth, were only too eager to believe in his baroque fantasy. (One of the few who wasn't fooled was Andy Warhol, who was astonished his underlings believed Hampton's whoppers. Clearly Warhol had no need for the accouterment of interracial "goodwill.")

But the same can't be said of most white Americans, whose desire for a noble, healing Negro hasn't faded. That's where Obama comes in: as Poitier's "real" fake son.

The senator's famously stem-winding stump speeches have been drawing huge crowds to hear him talk of uniting rather than dividing. A praiseworthy goal. Consequently, even the mild criticisms thrown his way have been waved away, "magically." He used to smoke, but now he doesn't; he racked up a bunch of delinquent parking tickets, but he paid them all back with an apology. And hey, is looking good in a bathing suit a bad thing?

The only mud that momentarily stuck was criticism (white and black alike) concerning Obama's alleged "inauthenticty," as compared to such sterling examples of "genuine" blackness as Al Sharpton and Snoop Dogg. Speaking as an African American whose last name has led to his racial "credentials" being challenged - often several times a day - I know how pesky this sort of thing can be.

Obama's fame right now has little to do with his political record or what he's written in his two (count 'em) books, or even what he's actually said in those stem-winders. It's the way he's said it that counts the most. It's his manner, which, as presidential hopeful Sen. Joe Biden ham-fistedly reminded us, is "articulate." His tone is always genial, his voice warm and unthreatening, and
he hasn't called his opponents names (despite being baited by the media).

Like a comic-book superhero, Obama is there to help, out of the sheer goodness of a heart we need not know or understand. For as with all Magic Negroes, the less real he seems, the more desirable he becomes. If he were real, white America couldn't project all its fantasies of curative black benevolence on him.

At The Barber's

A guy stuck his head into a barbershop and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut?'

The barber looked around the shop full of customers and said, 'About 2 hours.'

The guy left.

A few days later, the same guy stuck his head in the door and asked,

'How long before I can get a haircut?'

The barber looked around at the shop and said, 'About 3 hours.'

The guy left.

A week later, the same guy stuck his head in the shop and asked, 'How long before I can get a haircut? The barber looked around the shop and said, 'About an hour and a half .'

The guy left.

The barber turned to his friend and said,

'Hey, Bob, do me a favour. Follow that guy and see where he goes.

He keeps asking how long he has to wait for a haircut,

but then he doesn't ever come back.'

A little while later, Bob returned to the shop, laughing hysterically.

The barber asked, 'So, where does that guy go when he leaves?'

Bob looked up, wiped the tears from his eyes and said,

Your House!

WARGOTZ DECRIES MIKULSKI MOVE TO BLOCK TRANSPARENCY IN GOVERNMENT

Wargotz decries Mikulski move to block transparency in government

Dr. Eric Wargotz, candidate for the U. S. Senate, criticized Senator Barbara Mikulski for derailing a proposal to require that the substance and cost of Democratic healthcare reform legislation be posted on the Internet prior to a vote.

The proposal, offered by Senator Jim Bunning (R-KY), would have required that the legislative language and a final, complete cost analysis of the Democratic bill be made publicly available on the Senate Finance Committee’s website at least 72 hours prior to any Committee vote.

Senator Mikulski used an arcane parliamentary tactic to block consideration of the proposal on the Senate floor. This can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XwZz7h6tmFY&feature=channel

“Millions of Americans have concerns about how this legislation will impact their access to quality healthcare,” stated Dr. Wargotz. “Greater transparency promotes better government. It gives citizens additional tools to educate themselves.”

As President and Countywide member of the Queen Anne’s County Board of Commissioners, Dr. Wargotz spearheaded measures to promote greater transparency in county government. “This is a responsibility of elected officials across all levels of government. I cannot understand why Senator Mikulski would want to take her constituents in the opposite direction.”

“Senator Mikulski has made healthcare reform one of her signature issues during her three decade political career,” Dr. Wargotz continued. “Now that the debate is here, she has been largely missing. I find it ironic that she would only break her silence to block a proposal to empower her constituents to make informed decisions. She is beholden to the shadowy Washington politics of the past at a time when people want change.”

The Axis of Idiots

J. D. Pendry, Retired Sergeant Major, USMC

FROM THE PODIUM

This retired USMC Sgt. Major has his Stuff together.

Jimmy Carter, you are the father of the Islamic Nazi movement. You threw the Shah under the bus, welcomed the Ayatollah home, and then lacked the spine to confront the terrorists when they took our embassy and our people hostage. You're the "runner-in-chief."

Bill Clinton, you played ring around the Lewinsky while the terrorists were at war with us. You got us into a fight with them in Somalia and then you ran from it. Your weak-willed responses to the USS Cole and the First Trade Center Bombing and Our Embassy Bombings emboldened the killers. Each time you failed to respond adequately, they grew bolder, until 9/11/2001.

John Kerry, dishonesty is your most prominent attribute. You lied about American Soldiers in Vietnam. Your military service, like your life, is more
fiction than fact. You've accused our military of terrorizing women and children in Iraq. You called Iraq the wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, and the same words you used to describe Vietnam. You're a fake! You want to run from Iraq and abandon the Iraqis to murderers just as you did to the Vietnamese. Iraq, like Vietnam, is another war that you were for, before you were against it.

John Murtha, you said our military was broken. You said we can't win militarily in Iraq. You accused United States Marines of cold-blooded murder without proof and said we should redeploy to Okinawa. Okinawa, John? And the Democrats call you their military expert! Are you sure you didn't suffer a traumatic brain injury while you were off building your war hero resume and pilfering money for your personal airport in Pa? You're a sad, pitiable, corrupt, and washed up old fool. You're not a Marine, sir. You wouldn't amount to a good pimple on a real Marine's ass. You're a phony and a disgrace. Run away, John.

Dick Durbin, you accused our Soldiers at Guantanamo of being Nazis, tenders of Soviet style gulags and as bad as the regime of Pol Pot, who murdered two million of his own people after your party abandoned Southeast Asia to the Communists. Now you want to abandon the Iraqis to the same fate. History was not a good teacher for you, was it? Lord help us! See Dick run.

Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Carl Levine, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Russ Feingold, Pat Leahy, Barack Obama, Chuck Schumer, the Hollywood Leftist morons, et al, ad nauseam: Every time you stand in front of television cameras and broadcast to the Islamic Nazis that we went to war because our President lied, that the war is wrong and our Soldiers are torturers, that we should leave Iraq, you give the Islamic butchers - the same ones that tortured and mutilated American Soldiers - cause to think that we'll run away again, and all they have to do is hang on a little longer. It is inevitable that we, the infidels, will have to defeat the Islamic jihadists. Better to do it now on their turf, than later on ours after they have gained both strength and momentum.

American news media, the New York Times particularly: Each time you publish stories about national defense secrets and our intelligence gathering methods, you become one united with the sub-human pieces of camel dung that torture and mutilate the bodies of American Soldiers. You can't strike up the courage to publish cartoons, but you can help Al Qaeda destroy my country. Actually, you are more dangerous to us than Al Qaeda is. Think about that each time you face Mecca to admire your Pulitzer.

You are America's 'AXIS OF IDIOTS.' Your Collective Stupidity will destroy us. Self-serving politics and terrorist-abetting news scoops are more important to you than our national security or the lives of innocent civilians and Soldiers. It bothers you that defending ourselves gets in the way of your elitist sport of politics and your ignorant editorializing.. There is as much blood on your hands as is on the hands of murdering terrorists. Don't ever doubt that. Your frolics will only serve to extend this war as they extended Vietnam. If you want our Soldiers home as you claim, knock off the crap and try supporting your country ahead of supporting your silly political aims and aiding our enemies.

Yes, I'm questioning your patriotism. Your loyalty ends with self. I'm also questioning why you're stealing air that decent Americans could be breathing. You don't deserve the protection of our men and women in uniform. You need to run away from this war, this country. Leave the war to the people who have the will to see it through and the country to people who are willing to defend it.

Our country has two enemies: Those who want to destroy us from the outside and those who attempt it from within.

Semper Fi,
J. D.. Pendry - Sergeant Major, USMC, Retired

This is a savvy man. He has nailed it down pretty good. Too bad it won't do any good. There won't be 1 in 10 that receive it who will forward it.

RSC Update

From the Chairman
It’s only been nine months since President Obama took office, but he has already made his mark as the biggest spending President in our country’s history. Having backed away from his pledge to “make the tough decisions,” President Obama continues down a path of unsustainable and out-of-control government spending.

The annual federal deficit came in last week at a record $1.42 trillion. This stunning total should give pause to all in Washington. Americans will be paying the price for the reckless spending of this Congress and President for generations to come, and the long-term prosperity of our nation will be under threat from a falling dollar, impending tax hikes, and rising interest rates.

Yet despite the clear consequences, Congressional Democrats have no intent to rein in deficit spending. In fact, they have announced plans to take $250 billion out of their health care plan and pass it separately without any offsets, adding a quarter-trillion dollars to our national debt in the first ten years. This obvious gimmick is the only way they have found to keep their government takeover of medicine beneath the President’s desired price tag of $900 billion. This much is clear - Democrats in Washington have no concern about “paying for” health care reform. They are only concerned with looking like they are paying for it.

As with every major issue facing this nation, the RSC has offered a better health care solution, H.R. 3400, which makes patient-centered health care reforms. It ensures patients will still be able to see their doctors, without adding a penny to our national debt. It’s time to put a stop to these runaway deficits and bring fiscal order back to Washington. There’s still time to address our budget problems and set our country on track for a brighter future.

Thanks for your support,

Congressman Tom Price, M.D.Chairman, Republican Study Committee
