Too Late Now!

Shocking New Revelation

This is new information everyone should know. You will find verification links at the end of this shocking article.

This has been flying under the radar. Read the MSNBC article and check the truthorfiction.Com site. The TruthOrFiction version is shown below. This event is factual. I have an increased respect for President Bush. He has taken the heat of being called a liar and a war mongerfor 5 years while he kept his silence to protect the people of the world. This is truly a display of selfless honor.
On July 5, 2008 , the Associated Press (AP) released a story titled: Secret U.S. Mission hauls uranium from Iraq.

The opening paragraph is as follows:

The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein's nuclear program a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. Operation that included a two week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.

See anything wrong with this picture? We have been hearing from the far-left for more than five years how Bush lied. Somehow, that slogan loses its credibility now that 550 metric tons of Saddam's yellowcake, used for nuclear weapon enrichment, has been discovered and shipped to Canada for its new use as nuclear energy.

It appears that American troops found the 550 metric tons of uranium in 2003 after invading Iraq . They had to sit on this information and the uranium itself, for fear of terrorists attempting to steal it. It was guarded and kept safe by our military in a 23,000-acre site with large sand beams surrounding the site.

This is vindication for the Bush administration, having been attacked mercilessly by the liberal media and the far-left pundits on the blogosphere. Now that it is proven thatPresident Bush did not lie about Saddam's nuclear ambitions, one would think the mainstream media would report the story. Once the AP released t he story, the mainstream media should have picked it up and broadcast it worldwide.

This never happened, due in large part I believe, to the fact that the mainstream media would have to admit they were wrong about Bush's war motives all along. Thankfully, the AP got it right when it said,
The removal of 550 metric tons of yellowcake the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam's nuclear legacy.

Closing the book on Saddam's nuclear legacy. Did Saddam have a nuclear legacy after all? I thought Bush lied. As it turns out, the people who lied were Joe Wilson and his wife.

Valerie Plame engaged in a clear case of nepotism and convinced the CIA to send her husband on a fact finding mission in February 2002, seeking to determine if Saddam Hussein attempted to buy yellowcake from Niger . The CIA and British intelligence believed Saddam contacted Niger for that purpose but needed proof.

During his trip to Niger , Wilson actually interviewed the former prime minister of Niger, Ibrahim Assane Mayaki. Mayaki told Wilson that in June of 1999, an Iraqi delegation expressed interest in 'expanding commercial relations' for the purposes of purchasing yellowcake.

Wilson chose to overlook Mayaki's remarks and reported to the CIA that there was no evidence of Hussein wanting to purchase yellowcake from Niger .

However, with British intelligence insisting the claim was true, President Bush used that same claim in his State of the Union address in Jan uary of 2003.

Outraged by Bush's insistence that the claim was true, Wilson wrote an op-Ed in the New York Times in the summer of 2003 slamming Bush.

Wilson did this in spite of the fact that Mayaki said Saddam did try to buy the yellowcake from Niger . The Senate Select Committee on Intelligence disagreed with Wilson and supported Mayaki's claim. This meant nothing to Wilson who was opposed to the Iraq war and thus had ulterior motives in covering up the prime minister's statements.

It was a simple tactic really. If the far-left and their friends in the media could prove Bush lied about Hussein wanting to purchase yellowcake from Niger , it would undermine President Bush's credibility and give them more cause for asking what other lies he may have told.

Yet, the real lie came from Wilson, who interpreted his own meaning from the prime minister's statements and concluded all by himself that the claim of Saddam attempting to purchase yellowcake was 'unequivocally wrong.' Curiously, the CIA sat on this information and did not inform the CIA Director, who sided with Bush on the yellowcake claim. This was made public in a bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee report in July 2004.

Valerie Plame also engaged in her own lie campaign by spreading the notion that the Bush administration outed her as a CIA agent. Never mind that it was Richard Armitage -- no friend of the Bush administration -- who leaked Plame's identity to the press. Never mind that Plame had not been in the field as a CIA agent in some six years.

The truth is, due to their opposition to the war, Joe Wilson,Valerie Plame, the mainstream media and their left-wing friends on the blogosphere engaged in a propaganda campaign to undermine the Bush administration. Now that Saddam's uranium has been made public and is no longer a threat to the world, do you think these aforementioned parties will apologize and admit they were wrong? Don't count on it. The rest of the American people should hear the truth about Saddam's uranium. It is up to you and me to inform them every chance we get.

As far as the anti-war crowd is concerned, the next time they say that, 'Bush lied,' we should tell them to, 'Have the yellowcake and eat it too.'

Jim Ireton For Mayor

Ireton to Announce Mayoral Run

"Help Is On The Way" Tour Begins

--Salisbury—Neighborhood activist Jim Ireton will declare his candidacy for Mayor of Salisbury on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Chef Fred's in Salisbury. Citing the need to unite and rally citizens to the causes of cleaning up the Wicomico River, dedicating the resources to reducing crime that plagues the city, making neighborhoods safe for homeowners and renters to live, and returning a sense of fiscal responsibility to a debt ridden city budget, Ireton says that "Only a renewed sense of energy and change in perspective can turn Salisbury around."

Ireton was born in Salisbury in 1970, graduated with a Bachelors degree from Salisbury University in 1992 and holds a Masters Degree from the College of Notre Dame. A longtime community activist, Ireton was the first resident to purchase a home through Salisbury Neighborhood Housing Services – doing so at the age of 24. Ireton, 38, currently serves as the Chairman of the Wicomico Neighborhood Congress, Treasurer for the Johnson's Lake Neighborhood Association, Board Member for the Wicomico County Education Association, Board Member for Pemberton Hall, Secretary of the Democratic Central Committee of Wicomico County, and President of the Democratic Club.

"I do not run to embrace the status quo. The issues that Salisbury faces today are ones that are having a debilitating effect on the Wicomico River, on families raising kids, students going to college, on citizens looking for meaningful jobs, on the ever increasing elderly population, and on the skyrocketing costs of water and sewer service. I will not run without specific plans to address the issues we face.

"I believe that the greatest service is public service. Since high school I have devoted my time to education and advocating for schoolchildren, the safety of neighborhoods in our community, and open, efficient, and responsive government.
I am forever grateful to this community for all of the opportunities it has given me. From being Baby New Year in the Salisbury Times in 1973, winning my first tennis tournament, at age 9, on the City Park Tennis Courts, to buying the first house through SNHS's revitalization efforts, to leading the Wicomico Neighborhood Congress, I have been blessed by a community that has always seen my potential. I am honored to work every day in order to improve the quality of life in my hometown. I believe we live in one of the greatest communities and that we should protect our quality of life in every way possible. I want Salisbury to know that help is on the way."

The "Help Is On The Way" Tour begins Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 1:30 PM at Chef Fred's, 1801 North Salisbury Boulevard, Salisbury. The public is invited to attend.

Foreclosure Rate In MD And Surrounding States

http://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/stories/2008/11/10/daily48.html?t=printable

Baltimore Business Journal
One of every 774 households in Maryland was in foreclosure in October, according to an industry report released Thursday.

Maryland foreclosures jumped 32 percent between September and October to 2,973, according to Irvine, Calif.-based RealtyTrac Inc. Maryland posted a year-over-year percentage decrease, however, down 16 percent. Of Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., it was the only jurisdiction to post a decrease compared with the same period a year ago.

One of every 1,246 households in D.C. were in default in October. D.C.'s foreclosures were up 177 percent year over year. RealtyTrac cautioned that incomplete data from the year before may distort year-ago comparisons in the District.

Virginia had the highest foreclosure rate in the region, with one of every 493 households in default. Virginia's monthly increase in foreclosures in October was modest, up just 2.5 percent to 6,555.

The Washington area as a whole fared better than the nation on a per-household basis. One of every 452 households were in default nationwide in October. Nationally, foreclosures rose 5 percent from September and 25 percent from October 2007 to 279,561.

Nevada had the highest foreclosure rate with one out of every 74 households in default. California had the highest number of foreclosures with 56,954, even as its foreclosure activity decreased. California foreclosures peaked in August at more than 100,000.

Getting Into The Holiday Spirit

The Downtown Plaza has begun to get into the Holiday Spirit.

The Christmas Season Is Upon Us

While we're been subjected to listening to Christmas music at Sam's Club for the past two weeks or so, now the Holiday Christmas Tree is being installed outside the GOB today. I hear they'll be decorating it and turning the lights on in a week or so. Considering no one really gets to see how this is done and just how involved it is, I thought I'd deliver you these shots because you won't see it in the Daily Slime.

I see this tree and honest to God, all I can think of is that image last year of Gary Comegys kissing Lynn Cathcart on the lips at the lighting ceremony. Like Rosanne Rosanna Danna used to say, "I thought I was Gonna DIE!"

North Prong Business Vandalized

While the business owners along the North Prong were at the GOB expressing their concerns over the proposed revitalization of the North Prong, Salisbury Monument was vandalized. The owners, S.J. and Scott Disharoon arrived at work Tuesday morning to find the granite head stones on their property had been vandalized. It is not known at this time if other business owners on the North Prong were also affected. Coincidence? You decide.

SALISBURY'S COUNTERFEIT CRIME-BUSTER – BUBBA

Bubbas Theme.mp3

I gagged on the food in my mouth upon hearing that this poseur is presenting himself as a dedicated crime fighter in his attempt to succeed his mentor, Barrie Tilghman, as Salisbury's mayor. Nothing could be farther-fetched. Comegys has consistently opposed funding appropriate force level and pay for the City's police.

Bubba is an accomplished political chameleon. Don't be surprised to hear him quoting from the Crimestoppers Textbook while sporting Dick Tracy's early prototype of the cell phone on his wrist during the campaign. Anything to deceive.

Sent in by an obvious non Bubba supporter.

Today is World Kindness Day

World Kindness Day

Info courtesy of www.kindness.com.ua/world_kindness_day.htm :

The date decreed for World Kindness Day is 13th November. This was the opening day of the first World Kindness Movement conference held at Tokyo in 1998, and the 35th anniversary of the Small Kindness Movement of Japan, which brought the signatories of the ‘declaration of kindness’ of the World Kindness Movement together in 1997.

The purpose of World Kindness Day is to look beyond ourselves, beyond the boundaries of our country, beyond our culture, our race, our religion; and realise we are citizens of the world. As world citizens we have a commonality, and must realise that if progress is to be made in human relations and endeavours, if we are to achieve the goal of peaceful coexistence, we must focus on what we have in common. When we find likenesses we begin to experience empathy, and in such a state we can fully relate to that person or those people. While we may think of people from other cultures as being ‘different’ when we compare them with our own customs and beliefs, it doesn’t mean that we are any better than they are. When we become friends with someone from a different culture we discover that despite some obvious differences, there are many similarities.

Sometimes knowledge is passed on to us about different races, different cultures, that has become distorted, and we build up a false, negative impression of these people. It is only when we get to know such people that we realise it is a lie.

Another form of separation is in those people who fail to let go of transgressions that have occurred in the past. This also applies to some groups, where bitterness from many hundreds of years ago has been passed down though generations, and hatred becomes a normal reaction to thoughts of, or association with, the other group of people. The recent genocide in Europe is a tragic example of this. There is a need to let go of past transgressions if we are to live in peace. While we cannot change the past, we can ensure such things never happen again.

If we were to ask ourselves on a regular basis, "Is what I am involved in at this moment promoting joining or separation?", it would remind us of our commitment to kindness. All it requires is remembering. If our memory is not the best, small signs can be created and posted about the home and work environment. Simple solutions are workable solutions. Simple solutions to promote joining, working away at our goal for world peace with little acts of kindness, helping to break down the walls that separate races, religions, cultures. Helping our global brothers and sisters.

Ahhh, The Downtown Plaza In Salisbury

A Mothers Cry For Help to Find Her Missing Daughter

Hello Everyone,

I would like to start by saying thank you all for remembering my daughter Christine. It will be a year today that my daughter went missing from Byrd Road.

So many things have come to pass...

Holidays,

Birthdays,

her sisters wedding and, now a new baby.

Oh, how she would have loved being called Aunt Christine. But this will never be.

Her daughter still cries for her mother.

A few months ago Haylie called me into her room and asked me, can you smell that? When I said no, she told me that she could smell her Mommy. My heart broke for her.

It has been so hard for our family. I cant tell you how debilitating it is to wake up every morning wondering where my daughter is, praying everyday that God would let us find her.

We know that she is no longer with us.

All we think about is bringing her home and putting her to rest. I hate knowing that she has been tossed aside like garbage. And that the people responsible are walking around free. If they only knew how much pain they have caused, maybe they would make it right.

The truth will set you free.

I pray that someone would come forward and put an end to our pain. I pray this everyday.

So if you are reading this....

Please help me bring my daughter home. Don't do it for me, do it for her children.

They need to know that their mother loved them so much that the only thing that would keep her from them would be death itself.

Thank you all, for your continued thoughts and prayers.

Lynn

Ladies & Gentlemen, this is a video I personally enjoyed to no end. I truly believe you'll enjoy it as well.

Someone did an awesome job putting this together.

(Turn up your sound.)

Right at the very end of the video you will hear the song ' Thunder Road ' sung by the star of the movie for which it was the theme! This isn't uncommon except this is the one and only song ever recorded, for publication, sung by Robert Mitchum!

A special thanks to our friend Dave who delivered this special gem!

Democrats Are Such Idiots, They'll Even Fall For This Crap!

Friend --

Our friends at the Democratic National Committee laid it all on the line to bring change this year.

We've been reviewing the books, and the DNC went into considerable debt to secure victory for Barack and Joe. It took unprecedented resources to staff up all 50 states, train field organizers, and build the technology to reach as many swing voters as possible.

It worked.

But it also left the DNC in debt. So before we do anything else, we need to help pay for this winning strategy.

Make a donation of $30 or more now and you'll get a limited edition 2008 Victory T-shirt.

The DNC's 50-state field strategy was crucial to our campaign's success, as well as victories for Democrats up and down the ballot. Their organizing infrastructure allowed us to compete -- and win -- in states that seemed insurmountable just four years ago.

They took out substantial loans to make it happen. The DNC didn't hold back, and now, neither can we.

You were there for this campaign when we needed to reach out to more voters and compete in more states. Now we're relying on grassroots supporters like you to come through for this movement once again.

We'll get to work transforming this country. But first, we need to take care of the DNC.

Please make a donation of $30 or more today and receive your Obama Victory T-shirt:
