Is Obama the second coming of Jesus Christ

I friggin' doubt it! But apparently some of his "followers" think he is. Is this the most ridiculous sh*t you've ever seen?

Better get ready......this could get ugly if he is elected.

Benefit for cancer patient

On Monday, 10/27/08, at 7:00 p.m. there will be Basket Bingo Benefit at the Pittsville Fire Department. This event will benefit Diane Owens who is fighting an intense battle with cancer. Many of you may know Diane who has been a cashier at J-T's Market on Rt. 50 at Friendship Rd. in Pittsville for about 5 years. Tickets are $25.00 at the door. If any of you have friends or family who have fought cancer, you know this is a fight where the stakes are the highest. The financial repercussions can take away the will to fight. Even as the holiday season approaches, we ask that you do what you can to help. Please make an effort to come out to the Pittsville Fire Department and show your support.

On behalf of Diane, as well as her friends and family, I thank you.

Politically Based Attack a Hoax

081024CutFace

Yesterday we told you of a McCain-Palin volunteer who claimed to have
been robbed and then disfigured
when the robber saw that she had a
McCain bumper sticker.  Last night it was reported by Pittsburgh police
that it was a hoax
.

According to police, the young woman confessed to the hoax.  We can't comprehend what would motivate a person to do something like this.  It is our hope that she is punished to the fullest extent of the law.

The Daily Times Breaks A Record

Have you seen today's paper? It has to be the thinnest newspaper I have ever seen in my entire life! Oh, and it includes the Real Estate Guide as well. Old new provided days ago from Salisbury News. The Daily Times Sucks!

I Want YOU To Print This Article

I'm so confident I'm right in this article, I'd like you to click on the title so it's the only article up and then print it. The reason I'd like you to do so is because I want you to come back to me in 5 years or so and tell me I'm wrong. You'll lose.

Why did the Mayor and Comegys encourage having the Bridge Tenders fired from the two Draw Bridges? I'd say it was because they knew they were building a new Fire Station across the river and they wanted their numbers to look like 99.5% of the time the Bridges will NOT be up when they are called out to a fire.

All the while, in the background was this hidden, (now openly exposed) project called the North Prong. How do you devalue the property on the river in the North Prong Project area? You close the navigable water ways and the land starts shooting down in value. You start playing the game of putting together groups that would put together plans for the future of that area and you do everything you can to get that land cheap.

In 5 years or so the City will then go back to the State and say, you know what, we were wrong. We need to rehire those Bridge Tenders or demand they build a completely new Bridge because Condos and other businesses that they plan on locating there will need the navigable water to encourage the new development.

IMHO, the entire thing is a scam. Eventually they'll claim there's been so much new growth, the new Fire Station will only service the West side of Salisbury and ask for another new Fire Station in the Downtown area.

Look, I've been doing this long enough to know these people are completely full of sh!t and games. There's always something behind what they're doing and people like Debbie Campbell, Terry Cohen and the Dirty Thousand are exposing them and then they sue us to try to shut us up.

Today alone, (Friday) the Draw Bridge bells have gone off SEVEN DIFFERENT TIMES! They can't claim it's due to maintenance because there have been tug boats going through.

ALL of you were sold a bill of goods and if I were one of the property owners on the North Prong, I wouldn't let that property go if I had to stand there and get shot for not leaving my own property. They have an agenda and like I said, print out this article and save it for the future. You'll see in the end I was right on target.

Give Me Your Tags NOW!

While this individual allowed his meter to expire, Salisbury Police realized his tags were EXPIRED.

The Police Officer made him remove the tags immediately and turn them over to the Officer on the scene. Proactive Police Work, I LOVE IT!

Notice To All Employees

As of November 5, 2008, when President Obama is officially elected into office, our company will instill a few new policies which are in keeping with his new, inspiring issues of change and fairness:

1. All salespeople will be pooling their sales commissions into a common pool that will be divided equally between all of you. This will serve to give those of you who are underachieving a "fair shake."

2. All hourly employees will be pooling their wages, including overtime, Into a common pool, dividing it equally amongst yourselves. This will help those who are "too busy for overtime" to reap the rewards from those who have more spare time and can work extra hours.

3. All top management will now be referred to as "the government." We will not participate in this "pooling" experience because the law doesn't apply to us.

4. The "government" will give eloquent speeches to all employees every week, encouraging its workers to continue to work hard "for the good of all."

5. The employees will be thrilled with these new policies because it's "good to spread the wealth." Those of you who have underachieved will finally get an opportunity; those of you who have worked hard and had success will feel more "patriotic." It is a win – win thing.

6. The last few people who were hired should clean out their desks. Don't feel bad though, because President Obama will give you free healthcare, free handouts, free oil for heating your home, free food stamps, and he'll let you stay in your home for as long as you want even if you can't pay your mortgage. If you appeal directly to our democratic congress, you might even get a free flat screen TV and a coupon for free haircuts (shouldn't all Americans be entitled to nice looking hair?) !!!

More Evidence The Downtown Plaza Is Falling To Pieces

Look at the brick that lines the top of this fountain, or should I say, the lack of brick, or the missing brick?

There's no money in this FOUNTAIN because it isn't a fountain, number one. It's a pond. A filthy pond that is falling to pieces. As a matter of fact, every, (so called) fountain on the Downtown Plaza is no longer a fountain and their all maintained the same way, they're not.

While you're campaigning to run for Mayor again Barrie, we'll be on the streets taking pictures of YOUR community and showing everyone just how big a BS Artist you have been and how everything is falling apart, unless it's on Church Street or for low income housing.

Rumor has it, Barrie Tilghman IS going to run again for Mayor. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FOLKS!

Angel Has Been Adopted

Thanks to the wonderful readers of Salisbury News, Angel has been adopted! One reader informed me of the adoption as they wanted to adopt Angel but got to the Humane Society too late. That's not stopping them though, They plan on heading out there tomorrow and see al of the other animals and told me they will adopt one or two more animals, depending on what they have to offer. Another friend called me and said they truly wish they could adopt Marvin, the black lab.

I am so pleased this is working out and so many of you are participating. Like I said, it's one of the best things you'll ever do. Jennifer and I have been helping animals for many years and their are very few rewards in life that feel any better. Try it, you'll like it.

In the very least, go up tere and spend some time helping them out and take a few dogs for a walk.

Parker Place Is Going Out Of The Oriental Rug Business

Today you'll find some unbelievable deals on Oriental Rugs at Parker Place on the Downtown Plaza.

The selection is still good but once people find out the discounts are now 30% to 50% off, they're not going to last. Anne Taylor, (the owner) tells me that by December 31, 2008 they'll be completely out of the rug business.

So if you've been thinking about buying one or even giving one out as a gift for the Holidays, I strongly suggest you get out there today and make your choice/choices.
