The Town of Delmar will be holding a special meeting this evening at 7:00 PM at their Town Hall on Collective Bargaining.
I had heard the Mayor was playing games with this once again but we'll see what happens this evening.

my god, thats only $566.64 dollars a week befor taxes. thats terrible, consider that they could get shot, hurt everyday they go to work. i had no ideal, its a wonder they can find anyone qualified that wants the job. unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteKeep in mind that the police officers for the town of Delmar have to be certified police officers in both the states of Delaware and Maryland. That means they go though two different police academies. This totals 12 months of continuous training prior to you seeing them on the streets of Delmar. This is why we need to keep these officers and stop being happy with letting them walk out the door to better paying departments.
