Humans can contact that as well but there is currently no blood test to determine for humans. I also think some people are more susceptible to these tick diseases then others so that could be the reason.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31586983.post-36250402011585225972017-05-18T13:28:24.599-04:002017-05-18T13:28:24.599-04:00Been tick bit all my life. The disease is spread by the bite. That means an infected tick will transmit the disease before the preventive measure does its job. Dog also need a shot to prevent Lyme disease. Was also told it is very prevalent throughout Wicomico County.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31586983.post-58296346269609523422017-05-18T11:20:11.787-04:002017-05-18T11:20:11.787-04:00As long as the little buggers are on you for less ...As long as the little buggers are on you for less than 24 hours you are not supposed to be able to get Lyme's disease from them. I immediately wash the area and scrub it with rubbing alcohol. Spent my entire life here, and have never heard of Lyme disease until recent years. Really scary! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
