Here, I'll point it out for you:

"On Friday, Assateague Island National Seashore officials announced the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (SHA) has established lower speed limits and posted signs on the Route 611 approaches to the barrier island. The new reduced speed limit on the Verrazano Bridge is 30 mph, while the speed limit on Route 611 to Bayberry Drive has been further reduced to 25 mph."

This is a state highway (RT 611) they are talking about. Maryland State Police and DNR are going to be the enforcers. The fines will be the same as speeding on any other state highway.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31586983.post-72638233062470395602018-08-28T13:13:09.727-04:002018-08-28T13:13:09.727-04:00And they WILL turn that speed limit change into th...And they WILL turn that speed limit change into the biggest money-maker for the parks.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31586983.post-71353102932385744452018-08-28T11:17:20.744-04:002018-08-28T11:17:20.744-04:00Should have been changed many years ago, but NOOOO...Should have been changed many years ago, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO said the powers that be....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO because that's too common sense.

National Park, there should never be speeding. 25 max and it should be lower in other areas!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31586983.post-68271259328203803392018-08-28T10:36:56.342-04:002018-08-28T10:36:56.342-04:00Who will be enforcing these speed limits?
